This weekend and on Truth Social, Trump declared himself the President of Venezuela!

Donald Trump Declares Himself "Acting President Of Venezuela" In Viral Post

I really do not know what to think of this other than to state unequivocally that no one can declare himself president of a county if he has not been elected as such in that country.

He could call himself the "acting Dictator" of Venezuela if that is what he has done (taking over the nation by force).

Either way though, this is certainly an "ego trip" that he is on, given that he is doing all of this to show the power he has obtained.

In addition, he also stated this weekend that

Trump: We will take Greenland 'one way or another'

As such, here is one of the comments made:

Trump Accelerates His ‘Me First, Always Me’ Policy

This is what I see is happening:

Do you support such tactics?

Interesting question: Would you rather have Nicholas Maduro as president of Venezuela or Donald Trump?

I actually thought this was in the satire section. But hey some do post in the wrong areas at times.
None of us can say with any certainty if Trump actually believes he is the "acting president" of Venezuela but that is one of the reasons why I included Trump's actual comment on Greenland. He did clearly say "we will take Greenland one way or another.

It does goes to show his bully approach, meaning that the probabilities favor him thinking the same about Venezuela.

Trump is negotiating with Venezuela andvtrolling you gullible liberals

I never heard one complaint from Dems when Obozo, Brandon, or any Democrats called for Venezuela regime change

Are Dems going to find a Trump hating Federal Judge to order Maduro to be released, taken back to Venezuela, and restored as dictator?

So you want him to what? Reinstall a dictator that the people of Venezuela are happy is gone? You want him to stop being plain talking? You want him to be like the last administration and hide under the covers with no press coverage?

I would rather have the ELECTED president of Venezuela (Eduardo Gonzalez) be the president!

In 2025, "Edmundo González, won with 70% of the votes and insisted he was the rightful president-elect."

Venezuela election: Maduro declared winner in disputed vote
Well, that is the direction Trump has put the country in. He's letting the VP be president for now for stability but I will easily bet that on down the road Trump will demand that they have another election, monitored by international observers. Count on it.

And you are always willing to fall for anything as long as it paints Trump in a bad way. But let a democrat do anything that seems even slightly off and you are on the offensive.
Name one thing that any Democrat in a position of power that is anything like what Trump has said and DONE. I dare you to do so.

Trump is the extreme. Mind you, I am NOT saying that some on the left are not extremes as well, or that they should be ignored. I am NOT saying that. What I am saying is that Trump is in POWER and he can get his bullying DONE. No one on the Democrat side can do the same. As such, talking "and doing" something about it MUST be done, unless you agree with his tactics

Extreme? Like doing exactly what he said he would do if elected? Damn he is doing just that

Perhaps you are not happy because Trump is running circles around Dems. Trolling the hell out of them. Cleaning up the many Messrs left by Brandon and Cackles

That may be why you are not a happy camper

Count on it? I don't think so but it is my opinion as well as your statement is your OPINION as well. For now, the actions actually done by Trump suggest you are wrong.

No, no one can "count on it" as you say!

Oh, and by the way, the VP was chosen by Maduro (not by the citizens of Venezuela) and she basically believes the same thing as Maduro, meaning that Trump is not helping to do a "regime change". He is simply imposing his own will on the country

i am not a big fan of Trump. But ( and these are big buts) he was a better choice then the last administration that pretended Biden knew anything but he got ice cream if he did as told. He has had more interviews and press conferences. He was able to stop the flood across the border without special legislation or giving billions to South American countries. He has not bombed any hospitals nor dropped as many bombs as Barry did.
I find most congress members to have an agenda that is more about themselves then the country but democrats in congress are more off the wall in left field.
I fully expect that there will be an election in Venezuela in they near future where the people will be able to choose their own president and that president will be in power even if the vice president of the country wants to remain in power or not.

That is not what I have said or believe. Nonetheless, Trump did some good and some harm, with the latter being the most problematic of the two. Taking Maduro out of office was good, but he should have then insisted that the rightfully elected president take over. He has not even mentioned him.

The bad he has done, which will ultimately bring more problems than the good one he caused, is that he has now given permission to other nations to do the same as we have done and do it without having to pay a price for doing it, or even another nation saying the same thing about Trump (that Trump has said about Maduro) and having them come over and abduct Trump to stand trial in another nation for the dictatorial things that Trump has done here.

I get it you really believe what the democrats have told you and Trump is the Antichrist. He is the embodiment of evil. He is the one to call out no matter what.
But let me ask you one basic question. IF as you say he was so wrong and so loathsome to do what he did do you believe others should copy his actions?

All presidents (Trump included) have done some good and some bad. The thing is that overall, Trump has done more bad (much more) than good and that is going to bring more harm to the nation than the good he has done for the nation.

This is why the historians have rated Trump as the worst president ever but have rated Biden as the 14th best president.

As such, I disagree with your statement
