Maybe the radical TDS left needs a remedial civics course. The United States isn't a monarchy, it's a representative government with 50 sovereign states. You could say that governor Cuomo and the NYC mayor were criminally negligent early in the epidemic when they lectured their scared constituents about racism. You could say that Cuomo is guilty of the negligent homicide deaths of about 3,500 nursing home patients when he ordered nursing homes to accept infected patients. When President tried to close the borders in an effort to quell the infection, democrats fought him every step of the way. When President Trump suggested a certain drug that had proven success against the drug democrats accused him of making money off it. While President Trump was desperately trying to balance America's economy with a nationwide lockdown the democrat House Speaker was taking media types on a tour of her designer ice cream hoard.

The numbers are speaking so loud, I can't hear what you have to say. The only thing Trump did to stop the spread of the virus during the first two crucial months of the epidemic was to ban entry from China. It may have kept the Chinese out but sure as hell didn't keep the virus out. He downplayed the virus, calling it just the flu, a democrat hoax, and claimed several times it's all under control when nothing was under control. The day he was ridiculing the media for their dire predictions on Feb 27, the virus was loose and spreading and Americans were dying but Trump had it all under control. The fact is he had no plan for dealing with the epidemic, He abolished the group that was responsible for planing a response to a pandemic in 2018. By the time Trump suspend travel from Europe and other countries on March 15th, there were 4500 cases in the US and 171 deaths. The virus had spread to over 20 states. Cases were increasing by over 5,000 a day and contact tracing, testing and monitoring was at standstill because of the lack test kits.

Cuomo wasn't refusing nursing home patients because the pandemic in the early stages wasn't able to take on these patients, because they were at full capacity.
