I wouldn’t call it a Mandate. I would call it a two year opportunity to make significant changes… so long as the Republicans Party can put enough of a leash on their more moderate members in Congress and keep them in line.

Personally, I think the Chief of Staff needs to come up with a list of potential and known traitors to the Administration (Collins, Murkowski, etc…) and explain that their will be serious repercussions for not toeing the line.

Trump will not be judged by his ability to punish his enemies, but by his ability to provide lower income whites with better economic numbers.

For Trump to have a mandate he would have needed to have been elected by a landslide. He has never had majority support.
