The entire point of the thread is that the dem/globalists (and establishment GOP) are very happy supporting moving jobs overseas and pocketing K-Street cash. Saying that the US economy is a "service economy". Like they get paid for fellatio. Trump OTOH is at least trying to bring good paying jobs back to the US, including making sure that tariffs are fair. Trump deserves credit and support for opposing the globalists.

Trump IS a globalist. His clothing line is all manufactured offshore. He imports workers from Mexico for his resort properties, claiming he can’t find hotel maids or cooks in the US. He has properties all around the world.

He’s also on record as wanting to do away with minimum wages and other employee protections.

His steel and aluminum tariffs could cost the US 150,000 manufacturing jobs. Farmers in the Midwest are panicking as China has cancelled soy bean orders and instructed their farmers to increase production.

The trade war will cost Americans billions in higher prices on imported goods and lost jobs.

The steel and aluminum tariffs only mean that more US steel and aluminum will be used. Many construction jobs require that US steel be used, so its not overly expensive using US steel instead of cheap subsidized imported steel. As Secretary Ross stated, the finished product cost will only increase a fraction of a percent in most cases. The tariffs will be a good test of policies. If you are right Trump will lose in 2018 and 2020, if he is right, he will win....stay tuned....

The data of Unfair Trade Practices has been put out there and confirmed...........the abuses are real............perhaps I should say the same to you.......pouting and folding your arms hoping the trade abuses will end.............

We are in disagreement..........I believe in standing for America when other countries use unfair trade practices.......You can spin that all you want.

No…that is what the US is doing…pouting, withdrawing, becoming belligerent. Diplomacy is about engagement. The more you withdraw, the less other countries care about what your particular issue are.
