AP White House reporter Darlene Superville and photographer Ben Curtis were informed they would not be allowed to board Air Force One to cover the president as he traveled to Mar-a-Lago on Friday afternoon.

Deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich has posted on X earlier, claiming the AP's decision to continue to use 'Gulf of Mexico is 'not just divisive, but it also exposes the Associated Press’ commitment to misinformation.'

Budowich wrote: 'While their right to irresponsible and dishonest reporting is protected by the First Amendment, it does not ensure their privilege of unfettered access to limited spaces, like the Oval Office and Air Force One.

'Going forward, that space will now be opened up to the many thousands of reporters who have been barred from covering these intimate areas of the administration.'

I understand there are something like 3 or 4 other "stupid AP tricks", that all combine into AP demonstrating their lack of professionalism. It sounds like they (AP) are ignoring the other items and pointing at the stupid Gulf of America issue.

Report the truth or get banned. This has been the Admin./WHPS's stance since day one.

This admin and press secretary will call you out on your lies.

Considering the behavior of the media, I wouldn't care if the press secretary had a q and a. and all she did was toss a hive of murder hornes into the crowd.

Check back in a generation and I might be more open to the press's concerns.

Only tRump adjacent media will be allowed.

It's the way fascists do it, I don't know why anyone is surprised.

Hey, remember when the fbi and the cia used government force and money to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story?

That was real fascism. Which is why you lefties loved it.
