Imagine the world without American participation. Russia, China and India unchecked and without the biggest market in the world.World leaders know that Trump is essentially a child, and that his words are little more than loud and temporary rhetorical grunts and tantrums. They're aware of the always-possible TACO.
Now that he's moved his reality TV show into the global macroeconomic space, each of these world leaders will have to react in the best interests of their countries, and we already know that all of them are looking for, and creating, alternatives for the long term.
Trump's "you need us more than we need you, so nyah nyah nyah" foreign policy is changing global macroeconomics indeed, but not in the way he ignorantly thinks.
Yes, agreed. It would be bad for all concerned.Imagine the world without American participation. Russia, China and India unchecked and without the biggest market in the world.
What could possibly go wrong?
Why doesnt the world call out all of these other nations tariffs? Why is America supposed to accept the unbalanced trade and tariffs/other protectionist barriers placed by foreign nations? Doesn't seem fair to me, America has $37T in debt and must still protect the world. A tariff is a small price to pay especially when so many refuse to eliminate theirs. America has fiscal challenges and the Fed Reserve doesnt seem to help with their biased policies.World leaders know that Trump is essentially a child, and that his words are little more than loud and temporary rhetorical grunts and tantrums. Optimizing trade relationships is always a good, solid and defensible idea. Always. Why doesnt the world call out all of these other nations tariffs? The issue is that the rest of the world does NOT want to open their markets. They want their cake.and est it top, "hey America, keep your markets.open to us and let us access them. However, we will NOT allow you to do the same with our markets!" . The fact that he was able to get deals with Japan and S Korea illustrates how much the world.understands its been very unfair. These nations are not very open but they are quickly appreciating how important market access is, the U.S is critical to their industries profits. American industries ceserve similar access in other nations markets. Without Trunp playing hardball they would NEVER give even an inch.Optimizing trade relationships is always a good, solid and defensible idea. Always.
But you don't do it like a spastic, ignorant caveman.
I don't know why this has to be so difficult to understand.
Again: It's not what you're trying to accomplish, it's the way you're trying to accomplish it.The issue is that the rest of the world does NOT want to open their markets. They want their cake.and est it top, "hey America, keep your markets.open to us and let us access them. However, we will NOT allow you to do the same with our markets!" . And read.my comment, unless Trump played hardball these nations would NEVER bend. Just look at Canada, we are demanding 0% tariffs. The EU did the same, even as both protect their industries. The EU wisely bent first, fearing Aug.1st tariffs. I know first hand how Canada sends.covert operatives into U.S.corporations. How is this the honourable efforts of an "ally"? Americans unfortunately dont understand the extent of the centrlized systems around the globe you believe are similar in values. We arent. We are violating citizens AND corporations rights.Again: It's not what you're trying to accomplish, it's the way you're trying to accomplish it.
I've had to say that so many times that I finally put it in my sig. I don't know why this isn't obvious.
If this doesn't make sense to you, there is nothing else that I can say.
Ukrainians are dying because China and India are propping up Russias oil industry. Time to stop pursuing quantity economies, nations based on high populations alone, and focus on quality economies. India is stabbing the West in the back and it must end.Just kidding, but the left are always open to take and run it. Trump's fun, I like how he tells people to get fkd, but they're his buddy so long as they behave....

WTF is THIS? You're worried about decorum?Again: It's not what you're trying to accomplish, it's the way you're trying to accomplish it.

Trump seems to be kicking sand in the BRIC countries' faces for daring to threaten the US dollar as the world's reserve currency.WTF is THIS? You're worried about decorum?

TrueTrump seems to be kicking sand in the BRIC countries' faces for daring to threaten the US dollar as the world's reserve currency.
Trump appointed Powell, he admits he got bad advice.True
But we’re $37,000,000,000,000 in debt and have a Congress more corrupt than Ukraine
Trump needs to: End the Fed and end Congressional grift
Imagine the world without American participation. Russia, China and India unchecked and without the biggest market in the world.
What could possibly go wrong?
Higher tariffs on them simply means MORE (tariff)taxes on us, that you and I and all Americans will have to pay for the imported products at the store.Maybe....so WHAT?
Check your feelz, princess.
This is about BUSINESS and FAIR TRADE.
In the end, it will be GOOD for all involved.
Geez.![]()
No idea of whom you're talking about. I suspect you have little inkling either.A country that has $37 trillion debt (with no end in sight) and fighting its own allies to force them to abandon free trade is not in the best position to take on an alliance of more than half the world's population and an alliance that controls or has easier access to a lion's share of the world's most critical resources.
