Trump approved assylum of national guard shooter

There was no reason to not allow him entry. He was one of 79,000 Afghans who helped the US fight the Taliban. It was the right humanitarian thing to do as they would have been jailed , tortured or killed if the stayed. Is there something wrong with you?
That would have been justice. He may be your hero but not ours. Didn't another Afghan kill about 50 of your fellow fags in some gay club in Florida a couple of years back?

There was no reason to not allow him entry.
There was every reason to put them in a huge camp and keep them separate from the rest of the nation. That might not have prevented the shooting, but it sure would help people feel like our government, under Biden, had at a least a little concern about the people he represents (of course, he's to braindead....so I guess it falls to Jill).

What is wrong with you?

From the article:

Lakanwal, 29, is reported to be an Afghan national who came to the United States as part of Operation Allies Welcome, the Biden-era effort to resettle Afghans who assisted U.S. forces. He was then granted asylum in the U.S. in April 2025, CNN reports.

He came to the U.S. under Biden.

He was already here because of Biden.

He didn't need Trumps approval to shoot anyone.

HE WAS ALREADY HERE.

This whole thread is a NOTHINGBURGER like so many of the Stalker-Spammer threads of Conservative from Georgia, the milquetoast lying jerkoff who just can't resist starting a thread if Trump or Vance fart in the Rose Garden.
Trump's administration could have kicked him out but apparently, they're too focused on deporting parents.

He couldn't have legally bought a gun until his asylum was approved.

In all honesty, the most likely scenario is that there was nothing to vet. They can't read minds. They can look for known associations and ask questions, but if none of that lights up, then they don't get rejected.

"The suspect has been identified by multiple law enforcement sources and media outlets as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal. According to CNN, fingerprints matched a man of that name who fled to the U.S. during the Taliban takeover of his homeland in 2021.

Lakanwal, the outlet reported, had “applied for asylum in 2024, and it was granted by the Trump administration in April 2025.”:uhoh3:

No way to adequately vet them. It’s
why the Obama Administration and later Trump enacted prohibition on immigration from certain Muslim countries.
If that's true, then Trump should have never approved his asylum request.

But, it wasn't long ago that right wingers were raising holy hell about "abandoning" people just like him.

You’re right he shouldn’t have.

But him already being here is the initiating problem.
You can't criticize the Biden administration any more than the Trump administration.

But I don't really blame either. We all have pretty well agreed that people who risked their lives to work with us in Afghanistan should be provided the opportunity to live here in recognition of their service. Sounds like the dude saw some bad stuff, maybe has PTSD.

That doesn't take away from the tragedy. It's just that pointing fingers is dumb.

He was let in unvetted by the autopen administration. I am not holding Biden directly responsible since he had no ******* idea what he was doing.
Who said he was unvetted? He worked closely with the CIA for years and last I checked they tend to vet people.

Nothing about any vetting g in this article. Says let in 2021. Many say "should not have been let in?

Trump didn't review the

plus the national guard shouldn't be doing police work.

That is the same mentality that justified the the interment of Japanese people and the herding of Native Americans onto reservations . It is bigoted and cruel. The fact that they are human beings seems to be lost on you. Are you also afraid of monsters under your bed. ?

Trump and his officials are falsely blaming Biden for lack of vetting, while government records show:
  • He had already been vetted as someone who worked with U.S. forces/CIA in Afghanistan.
  • The Trump administration reviewed the case again at asylum stage and still approved him.
That opens Trump up to the criticism that he’s misrepresenting the facts to shift 100% of the blame away from himself.
Name the "administration official" who approved this maniac, or STFU.
