First it was a trade deal with the UK, then China, and now Vietnam.
"It will be a Great Deal of Cooperation between our two Countries. The Terms are that Vietnam will pay the United States a 20% Tariff on any and all goods sent into our Territory, and a 40% Tariff on any Transshipping," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

"In return, Vietnam will do something that they have never done before, give the United States of America TOTAL ACCESS to their Markets for Trade. In other words, they will ‘OPEN THEIR MARKET TO THE UNITED STATES,’ meaning that, we will be able to sell our product into Vietnam at ZERO Tariff," Trump added.

Trump says he reached the deal after speaking with To Lam, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

OMG! How much do YOU think the Average Vietnamese will spend on US goods

The average monthly salary in Vietnam is approximately 14,900,000 VND (around $600 USD). This figure represents the median salary, which is what a typical worker in Vietnam earns. In 2024, the average monthly salary was around $300 USD, and the yearly average salary was about 90 million VND (approximately $3,600 USD).

Trump humper you been hoodwinked again!

And you can believe as much of that as you want.

Also that's 0.00354 of US exports for 2024

So thats #2 out of 90 in how many days now?

The deal will only be judged on whether or not the trade deficit goes down and total exports increase.

/—-/ Back up your claim. How did you get that percentage?
Now add the UK and China, you little troll.

The US will be given free access to a Third World market. Big whoop.

The average Vietnamese worker can’t afford to buy anything imported from the United States.

They don’t make enough money to buy iPhones or other American consumer goods. Average pay is $327 a month US. That’s why you have a trade deficit with Vietnam and that’s not going to change just because Dumb Donnie signed a deal with them.

There is no point in starting a trade war with a nation that can’t afford to buy your goods. Maybe the Penguins will make a deal with Trump.

/—-/ Once again, for the TDS crowd, we currently sell 13 billion a year to Vietnam. Now their market is completely open to us.
Leave it to you clowns to poss, moan and complain about any Trump success.
Wait a year and see if the numbers go up.

Vietnam buys nothing from us because they are poor - They measure their poverty line as anyone who makes less than $5.50 per day... yes you read that correct. This agreement does virtually nothing for our trade and as much will get virtually no attention. HOWEVER, not having Trump's fake tariffs hanging over the clothing imports we have from Vietnam is very good.

/—-/ They bought 13 billion from us last year, that’s with all of the restrictions, dummy.
