Things like this is only more proof that Trump is still a democrat at heart. It's only money, right? And we're only $37 trillion in debt. Right?

Trump Announces $1,000 Newborn Baby Investments In ‘Big Beautiful Bill’

Every baby born a U.S. citizen gets a $1,000 contribution into a deferred, low-cost index fund.

.....snipped

While the accounts start at $1,000 per child, they allow for $5,000 additional dollars to be added every year throughout the life of that child.

I repeat, I am available to volunteer for this mission. Send me all the beautiful ladies! :stir: :icon_sjung::thup:

It's called investing in the future of our Republic....Might work, might not.

If a parent contributed the max 5K a year just look at what a kid would have when they turned 18.

Compounded interest can be a wonderful thing.

He's doing so much.

The left can't sustain. :blues:

@Grok - What did Trump do this week?

  • Executive Actions and Policy Moves: Trump signed an Executive Order on June 6, 2025, to promote supersonic aviation, directing the FAA to lift restrictions on overland supersonic flight and establish noise certification standards, aiming to boost U.S. aerospace dominance (White House). On June 4, he issued a Presidential Memorandum investigating executive actions from the Biden administration, questioning the use of an autopen and alleging possible unconstitutional delegation of presidential authority (White House). These align with his broader deregulation and accountability agenda, though critics might argue the autpen probe is politically motivated to discredit predecessors.
  • Immigration and Border Security: A Proclamation on June 4 imposed travel bans on 19 countries, effective June 9, to address national security threats, reflecting his ongoing focus on immigration control (NAFSA). This follows earlier moves like the January 20, 2025, "extreme vetting" order, suggesting a consistent hardline stance. Posts on X mention unrest in LA over immigration raids, with Trump backing arrest threats against Governor Newsom, hinting at escalating enforcement tactics (TIME), though this lacks official confirmation.
  • Economic and Trade Policy: The "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," passed earlier, continues to draw Wall Street warnings about bond market risks due to its $2.3 trillion debt impact (Washington Post, June 1). Trump’s administration also adjusted aluminum and steel import policies on June 3, reinforcing his tariff-heavy trade approach (Ballotpedia), which some see as reciprocal but others as risking retaliation.
  • Public Engagements and Statements: Trump has been active publicly, with posts on X suggesting he dodged questions about the Epstein files and threatened to remove a White House Tesla amid a feud with Elon Musk (patriottakes, June 6). He also reportedly left work early for golfing (patriottakes, June 6), a pattern noted in prior weeks, raising questions about focus versus optics.
  • Critical Perspective: The establishment narrative frames these actions as bold leadership, aligning with campaign promises like border security and economic nationalism. However, skeptics might see political theater—e.g., the autpen investigation or golf trips—as distractions from substantive governance, especially with economic warnings and overseas conflicts (e.g., Ukraine-Russia) unresolved (ZaidJilani, June 8). The Project 2025 influence (e.g., deregulation, immigration) is evident, despite Trump’s past disavowals, suggesting a coordinated conservative agenda that may prioritize ideology over fiscal or diplomatic stability.

Trump is trying to buy passage of his bill.

Trump is a socialist. His true blue ways have always been there. Like when he tried to give blacks $500 Billion, just because they were black. Or his Trumpcare. Which was Obamacare on steroids.

^translation: I can lie with the best of them and I'm the worst of them.

He's not lying. The government never paid most of us to have kids. As they shouldn't, because it's socialism.

BTW, this isn't about Moonglow . There's no need to make this personal.

What do you think about Trumps idea of paying people to have kids?

What better way to address big deficit problems than to....setup yet another giveaway with a side of a loophole.

What better way to bring the prices down than to....add big taxes on imports.

This Trump fella is brilliant.

He's lying, and you are lost in wonderland.

And yes, it's also about moonglug since I can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I think that it's a far better deal than bringing in criminals to fill the gap.
