All bullshit. The only way unemployment went down was because people were out of work for so long and folk stopped looking for jobs. Hence the percentage of the population in the workforce was at record lows for the vast majority of the Hussein era. President Trump ended that with adding more than 4 million jobs, including many in manufacturing, which the Hussein claimed would need a “magic wand” to bring back.

In signing up for the wall, Americans aren't signing up for a "mere" $5 billion. That's just a start. There's another 5 billion in the budge to house the "zero tolerance" detainees and their children until 2020. That money will go to the "for profit" prison companies which donated so lavishly to Donnie's "Inauguration Fund", the one that's now being investigated as a "pay for play" slush fund, managed by Michael Cohen.

The $5 billion Trump is asking for isn't the cost of building the wall. It's just a down payment. Completing the project will cost at LEAST $15 billion more, and then there's the cost of permanently manning it because as the test results showed, any wall can be breached. We don't know what that full cost will be because Trump has yet to provide the House Appropriations Committee with any financial cost analysis for the total cost of the project, or what it will cost to post guards along the wall, or to maintain and repair it.

Any President wanting a project approved is supposed to provide the House with a detailed analysis of the costs of construction, the costs of using the facilies, and the costs of maintaining it. For large structures such as the Wall, there is also the cost of eminent domain land seizures, and an environmental impact report. None of this has been done. Trump, coming from a closely held family corporation where the owner's word is law and nothing more is need to get a project done.

Government simply does not work that way and for good reason. Is Trump's "zero tolerance" policy a reward to the private prison donors that just happens to promote the idea that he''s tough on borders and job stealing Third World workers? These are legitimate questions that need answers.

Tariffs bring jobs back, once it’s cheaper to manufacture products due to tariffs. It’s how it’s worked for the EU and China. But you’re too dumb to know how they work and the effect they have.
