Trump Administration to Announce Trade Deal With Britain

I don't know why they bring that up. Picking winners and losers, obviously never a problem with those on the right, as long as they are the ones doing the picking.

Thats the point horse arse. The GOVT should not be picking any winners and losers in a free market.

Probably not, don't think she is involved in Cypto, and definitely not in digital collectibles. But yeah, she has profited from insider trading, all the more reason to ban members of Congress from making equity investments. Put their savings in a blind trust, period. They want to play the market, stay the hell out of Congress. The founders are rolling in their grave.

Not easy. They made laws they don't follow. Or use family members to get around it. They implemented targeted newlaws "wink wink" when caught during the ObamaCare debacle. I am not re-looking it up. No.

Trump seems to have made a deal with the UK. He still is not lifting the tariffs. Now the Trump cult will declare this as the greatest idea ever, but the fact is that the UK has been having problems ever since they left the UK because inherent in that agreement with the UK was access to markets they no longer have since they left. So the UIK needed this idea and it's not like we have never done business with the UK.

Live updates: Trump announces 'full and comprehensive' trade deal with UK

President Donald Trump touted a “tremendous trade deal” between the U.S. and United Kingdom as he discussed the first trade agreement since he imposed sweeping tariffs in April.

“I'm thrilled to announce that we have reached a breakthrough trade deal with the United Kingdom,” Trump said May 8 from the Oval Office, noting that the agreement happened to fall on "Victory Day" in celebration of the end of World War II. “There could be no more perfect morning to reach this historic agreement,” Trump said.

Trump said the agreement would provide billions of dollars in access for U.S. agricultural products such as beef and ethanol. “They’re opening up their country,” Trump said. “Their country is a little closed and we appreciate it.”

I hated when The UK left The UK.

The flashy online announcement called it “the most EXCLUSIVE INVITATION in the World,”a chance to have “an intimate private dinner” with President Trump at his members-only golf club in Virginia, followed by a tour of the White House. A seat would be reserved for each of the top 220 investors in $TRUMP, a cryptocurrency that Mr. Trump launched on the eve of his inauguration. ... “Have Dinner with President Trump and the $TRUMP Community!” the invitation said. “Let the President know how many $TRUMP coins YOU own!”
So Trump did this before being sworn in?

Well a private citizen makes an investment......my.....my.

When you make campaign contributions you get offers to dine with Him. I did.

Ok, so the only ones that matter are are the first two. If you buy British goods you now pay a Federal 10% sale tax. We don't buy British steel or aluminum-they don't really make any. Ag is not going to increase.

Per CNBC:
A fact sheet from the White House said that the trade deal will:
  • Keep in place a 10% blanket U.S. tariff on UK imports
  • Adjust tariffs on UK autos so that the first 100,000 vehicles imported from UK car manufacturers each year are subject to a 10% rate, and any additional vehicles face 25% rates
  • Create a ”$5 billion opportunity for new exports” for U.S. farmers, ranchers, and producers, including more than $700 million in ethanol exports and $250 million in American beef and other agricultural products
  • Commit both countries to working together to enhance industrial and agricultural market access
  • Close loopholes and increase U.S. firms’ competitiveness in the UK’s procurement market
  • Streamline customs procedures for U.S. exports
  • Establish commitments on intellectual property, labor and the environment
  • Secure the supply chain of U.S. aerospace manufacturers through preferential access to high-quality UK aerospace components
  • Create a secure supply chain for pharmaceutical products
  • Require the U.S. to negotiate an “alternative arrangement to the Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum.” That includes creating a “new trading union for steel and aluminum”

In case you weren't paying attention.
Trumps crypto is being sold mostly to FOREIGNERS.

Trump is offering the top buyers direct access.

The price of Donald Trump's cryptocurrency has soared after the US president promised to host two special events for its top investors.
Hell, that is worse. I mean Trump has monetized the presidency to an unprecedented degree. He is the wealthiest president in history, anyone want to tell me who that was before Trump?

Within two days of being publicly traded, Trump touched a $7 billion net worth as excitement about the company continued.

You had to make sure you got to this one FAST huh?

That way you wouldn't have to live with the existential agony of seeing yet ANOTHER winning Trump headline making the rounds.

Predictably pathetic.
