Trump administration fails to secure indictment against sandwich thrower

Federal prosecutors have charged the man accused of throwing a sandwich at a Customs and Border Patrol agent in Washington, D.C., earlier this month with a misdemeanor after a grand jury refused to indict him on a more serious felony assault charge on Wednesday, according to court records filed Thursday.

Sean Dunn has now been charged through a criminal information, which did not require sign-off by a D.C. grand jury.

They were abusing their power and asking the grand jury to indict the man for a criminal charge that would have given him 20years behind bars as a felon, for throwing a sandwich.....

The grand jury said that was an abuse of DOJ power and refused to indict him for such a ridiculous charge....

The grand jury was CORRECT in doing so.

This was more making a person as an example for the laxness that the city was promoting with criminals.
