Psychedelics are known treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental and neurological troubles.

The Trump administration is finally taking steps to release them for therapeutic use.

This would involve taking several drugs off Schedule 1, including ibogaine which is super-powerful and probably shouldn't be used recreationally.

However in clinical settings they're proven aids to therapy.

There should probably be additional qualifications required for the psychiatrists who administer them. The last thing you want is some dumbass guiding your trip.

Definitely. Psychedelics offer tremendous opportunity both in psychiatric treatment, as well as for religious and spiritual cleansing by the appropriate individual. The last thing anyone needs is some idiot prescribing the stuff to you who does not really know what he is doing.

Well sure. It's likely where he gets his "best" ideas.

Psilocybin has real mental health benefits when micro-dosing. Schedule 1 drugs have all kinds of limitations from getting federal funds for research, and of course, Big Pharma has a lot to say about that. We still don't know the depth of the benefits they provide. Hopefully RFK Jr. can change this.

A friend of mine who suffers from depression was given that treatment. He said it made him feel better until it wore off and he felt worse.
