SA’s trouble started with the election of Mandela. He was an activist with no management skills. Corruption was rampant under him. His wife took part with looting the country.

SA Airways was the premier of SA when whites were running the country. The company went through a series of financial trouble and of course theft when blacks took over.

Eskom electric was a top notch electricity provider. Because of rampant theft and looting after blacks took control, Eskom can barely keep the light on.
