Trump 47's Cabinet

diGenova/Toensing.

Andrew Napolitano.

Rudy Giuliani.

Mike Davis.
Except for Giuliani I would have to think about this list. My gut tells me Napolitano would not be at all good for the MAGA vision and he would most likely undermine the effort. Not sure about the others.

The diGenova/Toensing team is my first pick.....Davis #2.

They'd waste no time in cleaning house.

The biggest failure of his first term was the lack of good nominees. He didn't expect to win, and even his team didn't have the time or the foresight to be sifting through thousands of resumes to come up with good people prior to January 2017. That's all different now. They are working feverishly to identify great candidates for every cabinet position and a couple layers down from that.

While Trump is famously oblivious to criticism, imagine Trump as a "lame duck," whose only concern politically will be to tee up JDV for 2028.

Anything short of the prospective Elon Musk/Ron Paul tag team, to take a chain saw and wood chipper to the District of Criminals swamp, will be a disappointment.
I would love to see their audit exposing the waste, malfeasance, other corruption in government. But I think their powers will be limited to exposing that and providing the information to the DOJ. So just as important is who heads the DOJ and whether he/she will have the courage and will do to something about it.

I hear it told that the transition team is a closed shop, and he won't even be taking many, if any, "security briefings" to head off the possibility of any leaks.

I will agree that Trump's biggest weakness has been in trusting the wrong people and, as a political novice, he was especially susceptible to that. Hopefully he is much more experienced and considerably wiser and far less susceptible to that now. And I hope he will pick better people to help him achieve the MAGA vision.

I disagree that he is oblivious to criticism. Another of his weaknesses was his tendency to fire back at those who criticized/accused him and that sometimes made him appear petulant which was not attractive to people like me. He has gotten better about that too.

He won't settle for a lame duck presidency.

I anticipate a solid cabinet but not, necessarily, the folks named in the OP as “possibles.”

My guess is that a guy like Elon Musk wouldn’t want to accept an actual government post since that could hobble his abilities to do business.

Judge Cannon may be left in place for a while until an opening on the SCOTUS.

Marco Rubio could get a position but only to the extent that his absence from the Senate doesn’t interfere with Reump’s plans.

Vivek may get a position. Not sure he is Homeland material.

Bongino is probably not gonna want to lose out on his gravy train commentator niche.

However, there is a concept we all heard about back in our school days: a kitchen cabinet. Unofficial but trusted and valuable advisors.

For now, to wrestle against the deep state elements in the State Department and the DOJ, President Trump will need experienced and highly capable folks in those positions.

This will be fun to watch as it starts to come together.

Elon is clearly on the record as WANTING the ability to make government more efficient, more effective, return it to being a servant of the people instead of a faceless, authoritarian uncontrollable conglomerate that uses the people to benefit itself. If he teamed up with Ron Paul toward that effort, it could lead to something amazing IF we have a Congress and DOJ with the balls to actually act.

As for people like Tucker, Megyn, Bongino, all are millionaires many times over and they might like a change of pace and a place in history. All are young enough to resume their media careers after a time in service to the country, their book deals would be worth infinitely more, etc.

While MAGAs hope and pray for a MAGA victory today in the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives, I was just looking over the hugely unlikely team that Trump seems to be putting together.

Elon Musk, richest man in the world, could be on a Trump cabinet.

Marcus Rubio has been suggested as possibly Secretary of State. (I personally want Trump to pick Pompeo for that again as he was amazing in the job and continues to be a Trump supporter.)

RFK Jr could be instrumental in making America's food supply safer and developing common sense environmental policies

Tulsi Gabbard--not sure but I bet she's there somewhere.

Vivek Ramaswamy's name has been thrown around as possibly heading the Dept of Homeland Securities

Dan Bongino - head of the Secret Service?

Tucker Carlson or Megyn Kelly as Press Secretary?

So what would your dream cabinet be in Donald Trump's second term?

So many good interesting people to choose from.
Who is Marcus Rubio?

The neo-cons are gonna start coming back out of the woodwork now...

Trump's unqualified and unfit cabinet will be the source of most of the chaos and damage.

Trump of course has no vision besides personal gain and chaos. Sticking a thumb in the eye of his perceived enemies.
