Trouble in paradise...Anti-Government Protests Draws Tens of Thousands to D.C.

What is with the doublethink? I can't post links from Thinkprogress but you can post links from Fox News?

As much as you'd like to call me a dishonest ****, I'm simply posting the links and saying prove it wrong.
Why should I bother reading propaganda written by the Democratic elites?

Because they know what's best for you, you "little person".
Somebody once said 'and the meek shall inherit the earth'...who was that again?

Here you go, Xeno...from ABC.

Carrying signs depicting President Obama as Adolf Hitler and the Joker, and chanting slogans such as "'No big government" and "Obamacare makes me sick," approximately 60,000 to 70,000 people flooded Pennsylvania Ave, according to the Washington DC Fire Department.
Tea Party Protesters March on Washington - ABC News

IMO, they are all a bunch of hypocrites as you all peed your pants if anyone ever called Bush Hitler...remember the great Moveon.org whine fest?

Somebody once said 'and the meek shall inherit the earth'...who was that again?

The same guy who said this:

Avoiding the Sin of Adultery Matthew 5:27-30 | Bible.org

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to desire her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away! It is better to lose one of your members than to have your whole body thrown into hell. 30 If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away! It is better to lose one of your members than to have your whole body go into hell (Matthew 5:27-30).

So I assume those who are such dear followers of this man shall go ahead and tear out their own eyes for daring to even look at another woman.

Another case in point would be the woman caught in the act of adultery (John 8:2ff). “In the law Moses commanded us,” they say, “to stone to death such women” (John 8:5). That was the Law. Jesus found it necessary in the early phases of His ministry to declare how He stood in regard to the Law, and we see that proclaimed in Matthew 5:17-48. This whole chapter is really about Jesus and the Law. He makes a general statement about that in verses 17-20. Jesus claimed He had not come to set aside the Law, to abolish it. He came to fulfill the Law. Not one jot, not one tittle of the Law, not one dot over an “i” is to be set-aside until all these things have been fulfilled. Jesus is not anti-Law. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law.

He also spoke the whole "camel needle in the eye is easier than to be rich and getting into heaven." He also spoke about giving up all of one's possessions. He spoke about plenty of things, problem is, people pick and choose of what he says and believe it. :eusa_eh:

the camel through the eye of a needle does not mean what you think. It was relevant to the time.

That is but one article, and who is this mysterious 'you' you speak of?

I couldn't give a flying **** what they called captain chimptasic.

One last caveat to possibly ruin your day:

Since the dems control both houses, have fillibuster proof majority in the senate and have the POTUS, why wasn't this bill passed in July, as Obama wanted?

What's the holdup, seeing as the Dems hold all the cards.

I think this is your 15th attempt to derail the thread, Robbie?

Here's a map showing where the 1.2 million protesters came from:

It's Sarah Palin's fault. :lol::lol:

Now go ahead and give me a link as to where that map came from. I notice said source is missing.

They can't see the forrest for the trees.

Still no answer on why if this bill is so good, so sweet, and has such wide support, why hasn't it been passed?

I'm sure we will now see nifty poll data about how popular it is, and then I will ask again why poll data is even needed since we have one party rule in the USA.

Are there democrats that are against socialist programs?

Uhm..

Map Update: Over 2,000 Registrations in 7 days!

Since I last posted our update map, we’ve seen well over 2,309 and registrations come through! That’s over 300 registrations per day! In total, we now have well over 14,000 registrations for the protest.

14,000 is not 1.2 million.

What the hell are you smoking?
This map, and link, are 7 weeks old. You've won the "Dishonest ****" award for the day, Robbie! Congrats!

you referred to the protestors as "little people". you're lucky all I called you was elitist.
how does it feel to be in the company of Spiro Agnew?

Oh don't ******* delude yourself, WE are ALL the "little people." We have no real power or no real say. Those are top lie, cheat, and steal to keep the status quo the same because they continue to make massive profits.

You assumed that I don't consider myself part of that group. WE are the little people because we're not the ones up high top laughing down at those who actually believe they have a choice. We have no choice in this country, or if we do, people are too stupid to use that choice so many times it's not even funny.
Rarely do I fully agree with Robert but on this I do. The people have been absolutely lazy in many instances. They have not paid attention when they had more of a choice. They have not watched what their elected officials were doing. When they have had opportunity to rid themselves of parasites in elected offices the people did not do it. Instead they allowed their elected official to sell them out to the highest bidder and for favors.

Elections come down to two people. choosing a lesser of two evils does not a "little person" make.

Which is why they should shut up and sit down?

Are you saying the Democrats were for it, BEFORE they were against it?

john_kerry.jpg

what about the global test, which the first gulf war passed and Kerry voted against it.
Yes, but he did manage to vote for the second war (the unpopular one) thinking it would help him.

So again, why all this talk?

Dems have the votes, pass healthcare monday and stop all this bullshit.
