And that's why you would get a swift punch in the throat, instead of a prison sentence.First-bumping a person is a far cry from groping or molesting them, Ace.
Maybe it was her first day on the job.Tell me how many bars you've been in where the waitresses were unfriendly, demanded you not even fist-bump them, who got good tips and brought business in for the owner.
Sorry--- no, a girl whose religion inhibits her ability to even casually interact with customers probably has no business working in a pub.
It’s not like he tried to rape herConsider yourself lucky that it was the cops called, instead of the paramedics being called to spoon the two of you off the ground. With a few stand up guys around, that could have gone very differently for both of you.
Some advice I got when I was 4 years old: Keep your ******* hands to yourself.
You got the address for THAT bar? What about serving alcohol with your tongue down your customer's throat while playing with his hair as you tickle his ear with your hot breath while sticking your hands down his trousers fondling his package as well?
Just asking for a friend.![]()

Your religion forbids you to wear two different fabrics. Her religion forbids her to even touch a man but she can work in a bar? I find the scenario hard to believe and most likely made up.
She made her position clear. Not a valid reason on Earth to proceed to ignore her simple request.Three guys and me are at a bar. The lady serving us is gorgeous and one guy goes for a knuckle bump. She withdraws and says she is Muslim and that forbids her touching men. So next time she brings a drink he real fast knuckle bumps her. She goes off and the manager gets involved . Then two middle eastern guys start getting in and manager says we have to leave immediately. We refuse so he calls cops. Cops come and ask where is the assault victim and perps . John confessed he knuckle bumped her and cop goes off on why were they called in for an assault when it was a mere “dap”. There’s some back and forth about Muslim culture and Johns concluding remark, as the cops left and we voluntarily exited also , was spot on “in America when working in a bar the Muslim faith is not a controlling g factor for customers”
I mean I would not have knuckled bumped her but for Christ sakes “when in Rome ” comes into mind.
Thoughts?
Because they are cafeteria Muslims, assimilating into modern culture. She made her position clear. Not a valid reason on Earth to proceed to ignore her simple request.
Related question, though. Why do Muslims run or work in a bar?

I’m not Jewish, so we have some evidence that you do a lot of uninformed guesswork.Same reason your Christian neighbor didn't murder you for returning work emails on the Sabbath.
And? Did she want said fist bump? Does she not have a right to say "Don't touch me"? Who are you to get to make that decision for her?First-bumping a person is a far cry from groping or molesting them, Ace.

You don't have to be Jewish or Christian. It's a rule in the Bible, and it applies to you no matter what sky daddy you claim.Do you know this? Or are you just guessing?

So we will put you down for the position that bartenders should let people touch them against their will. Or find a new job.No. it is a tavern. It is a people contacting business. If having contact with people presents a problem for her, she should get a job as a librarian.

A knuckle bump is even less intimate than a handshake, since there is less skin-to-skin contact.Coming into a knuckle bumped contact is not intimate like touching. I believe you will end up in the minority . It’s also a bit off putting to the customer, as if somehow we are improperly aroused when in fact just trying to be friendly
Google says Emirates Airlines serves alcohol, so![]()
Let me help you guys out, here. Are the female fight attendants forbidden contact with men? Often in a bar/restaurant or on a flight it's not uncommon to touch a server/attendant as a way to get their attention, like a tap on the shoulder or arm.

An odd position to take, but hey, it's a free country.
