If they and their peers were not America's greatest generation, they will stand in nicely until it comes along. Thank you for everything.

All my uncles who served in combat are now gone. So few of these heroes left now. A generation raised in an economic catastrophy that had then to face a world completely enveloped in war. They gave us an example of heroism and perserverance that will stand as a source of pride for this nation as long as it exists.
