I say skip the american history stuff. Insist the applicant take the SAT test (in english) and get 600+ on both sections. That would indicate an above average intelligence and make it unlikely they would go on welfare. Also - NO MUSLIMS.

sep 4 2025 A senior Trump immigration official said he's "declaring war on fraud" by making the United States citizenship test more difficult because the current version is "just too easy."

Speaking at an event hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies think tank in Washington, D.C., Thursday, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Joseph Edlow said that the citizenship test needs to demonstrate the applicant's "attachment to the Constitution."

2. Must require enough wealth to live on for one year.
3. Must require enough skillset to be a productive American worker.
4. Must be just tough enough on American knowledge that no democrat can pass it, then we can declare democrats all illegal aliens.
5. For every immigrant we import, we must deport at lease two illegals.

Funny thing is, many natural born Americans, would fail the citizenship test without studying for it.
