By the way mindless OP partisan hack, Detroit elections are non-partisan. So are Chicago's. So are Memphis'. And Las Vegas'. Those are a few that I know. Most of the others aren't big enough to appear on this list.

By the other way, partisan hack, most cites ARE run by Democrats, everywhere. Big cities, little cities, rich cities, poor cities, nice cities, shitty cities. So much so that if the city has a partisan election and you want to run it you'd better run as a Democrat even if you're personally a Republican. Just as Frank Rizzo. Just ask Ray Nagin.
