How would it be insulting to real life flyers? It certainly wasn’t a reflection of them personally

The dude had a mig behind him with missle lock. He thought he was toast. Enough to freak anybody out. Still don’t see how a scene in a movie like that would insult any flyer. From what I’ve seen most the service loved it and participated in the making of number 2

Never experienced it but it seems that Hollywood interprets a "missile lock" in relative peace time to be a reason to quit flying. It's insulting to every Navy flier.
