JFK would still be a democrat today no matter what. The argument is that the democrat party has morphed so far over the edge of socialism that the 60's vintage JFK would SEEM like a conservative today. Imagine Hilly or Bernie saying "ask not what your country can do for you" and you get the gist of the argument.
