To win, Harris should talk more about working-class needs and less about Trump

Where are you getting your News?

You can tell us Harris's plan and evn be critical of them...

Right off the top of your head without looking it up...

What is Trump's inflation plan?

What is Trump's small business plan?

Could you show us the video of him explaining them in person... Interview or Rally?
Inflation? What inflation? You guys say there is no inflation. Did you forget that already? Did you change your mind? However, to lower prices, Trump's main plan is to drill baby drill because when the price of oil and gas go down it affects a whole bunch of things used in packaging food and many other things but also decreases transportation costs, lowering the cost of just about everything.

Trump also plans on reducing taxes on small businesses and removing unnecessary regulations. None of this stuff is a secret. I don't have to post a video or link on it.

Harris's small business plan is to give a 50K tax credit to startup businesses who will drive already existing businesses out of business. Net result: one new business, one lost business, and the government charging another 50K to the government debt, increasing inflation.

So you think US Oil production affects pricing

Oil Production is higher than under the last three administrations. I know people blame Biden for higher oil prices, which in turn, due to shipping costs, affects the price of food. He did what he could, releasing some U.S. oil reserves. The U.S. exports oil, a lot of it. There is a worldwide oil market. If you wanted Biden or Trump to lower oil prices immediately, they would have to nationalize, that is, take over the U.S. oil companies, and that is socialism: state ownership of production. Do you think Biden would have done that? No, he made it quite clear he follows the rules of capitalism.

If someone tells you that because the US drills more or drills less, and that it lowers or raises the price of the gasoline we buy, they are either lying or badly uninformed. When a politician runs for office they attack their opponents, especially incumbents, for nearly everything, hoping you will believe them, and vote for them. They often win on such platforms. However, presidents don’t have the power to change the way the entire world prices oil or refined products like gasoline.

I mentioned food prices rising with the price of oil. True enough, but that’s not the only reason for high food prices. Supply and demand, again, one of those capitalism things, has more to do with food prices. Wars around the world affect the growth and distribution of food. Climate change is also affecting crops. There’s more rain in some places, and less in others. Food prices will likely rise a whole lot more regardless of who the President is.

I know it’s a tradition in this country to blame politicians for everything, but there are other factors. On top of shortages, and distribution problems, look at the huge food mega corporations. Inflation is up, for many of the reasons I mentioned, but those food conglomerates, e.g., Kroger, have raised prices on top of inflation. An unfortunate result of capitalistic economies is greed, which is hard to regulate, and politicians also run on platforms of eliminating regulation. Do you think prices are high now? See what happens with no regulations at all. Our is a mixed economy for a reason.

Ummmmmm, there is this thing called supply and demand. The more supply, the lower the prices.

And OPEC control the Global Supply, US increase it and OPEC reduces it to keep it at the same level.

There is no such thing as US Oil, as it comes out of the ground it is a global commodity... US Oil companies sell it to the highest bidder globally...

We use the first amounts for ourselves, then we sell the rest globally. The more oil there is on hand, the cheaper it sells for. You don't know much about economics, do you?
