I'm actually in agreement with my mom on Christmas, "Let's just have Christmas all year long", "Every day should be like Christmas."

I love this....and I must say, since accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior about 20 years ago now, I carry a little bit of Christmas every day. I don't put as much stock in all the trimmings of the holiday as I used to...I think for the very reason that I have Immanuel all year long.

If that makes any sense at all.

I have a large extended family, so Christmas is expensive for me, even when I limit myself to buying each person one present.

Also, the responsibility has fallen to me to pay for Christmas dinner.
