Y'know, I don't think that the traditional concerns that Americans have had -- jobs, the economy, security, health care, whatever -- are at play as much as they used to be. MAGA will say they are, but their number one priority -- the white replacement fear -- just dwarfs everything else put together. All the other issues seem to flow from that. Further, the America I'm seeing now appears to be okay with that. I'd never have thought I'd say that, but I think it's true. And thinking that Trump's dropping polls are a positive sign for the Dems in 2026 and 2028 may also be wrong. There may be people who won't vote for Trump because he's such a buffoon and awful human being, but they WILL vote GQP for the reason above.
