Nonsense. Those are just lame, neutered versions of the real steps that Trump took that actually held migration down.

Among the new policy measures the administration is putting into place are a new asylum rule that will largely bar migrants who passed through another country from seeking asylum in the US. The rule, proposed earlier this year, will presume migrants are ineligible for asylum in the US if they didn’t first seek refuge in a country they transited through, like Mexico, on the way to the border.

Pretty weak sauce, compared to the negotiated by Trump remain in Mexico policy. But at least it is something, right? Biden is trying, isn’t he?

Migrants who secure an appointment through the CBP One app will be exempt, according to officials.

An app specifically designed to make asylum fraud easier. I’d love a Biden supporter to explain to me how having a cell phone to use the CBP One app makes it more likely that an asylum claim is real.

The CBP One app is available on Google Play, and I’m guessing for the Apple platforms as well. It can be used anywhere in the world, including inside the U.S. I explore my fellow patriots not to get the app and spam the system with fake appointments, like the Democrats have done to websites they opposed.

He only cares about that in so far is that it may cause him to lose popularity and possibly endanger his election. That's why he's giving lip service to being concerned and doing something about it.

Praise Allah that our Texas governor is doing something about it. My fear is that one of our brave Texas Guardsman will be forced to shoot an illegal. That will give the Biden Administration and excuse to federalize the Texas guard and have them Stand Down from protecting Texans from the cartels.

California isn't having near the same problems that Texas has because the state cooperates with not only the Federal Government but also the powers on the Mexico Side. Yes CA has problems but they are constantly working on it as a part of curing or minimizing them. Meanwhile, Texas doesn't do a damned thing except to blame others.

Rather than holding everyone's feet to the fire, you just spread hate. At some point, the northern states are going to decide to do something about the exporting of illegals into their states by Texas. Can you imagine if all roads leading out of Texas become Toll Roadways. That would be something, wouldn't it. Or making anyone from Texas to have to carry special papers or be bussed back to El Paso. It won't matter if they are really from Dallas, they get dumped with nothing in El Paso.

I don't think Abbott would allow them to be federalized, he has a say short of a declared war.

About the only border state not cooperating to lower the numbers is "Texas". Why? It's politics. Had it been anything else, during the 2 years where the Reps controlled the federal govenment, the problems would have been taken care of. Your "Leaders" don't want it to get better.
