I went to a local baseball game yesterday and although I kept my mouth shut I couldn't understand why they were asking for tips at the counter when I went to go pay for my food. I always tip my waiter or waitress but seriously!? Counter service!? Talk about greedy. 🙄

If you don't want to tip them, then feel free to be an asshole.

Moving the food behind the counter 2 or 3 feet is hard work.

LOL!

It already costs $9 for a hot dog, $14 warm beer, $6 coke. I get too stunned to think tip at an MLB game. $25-$50 to park? A ticket is cheap compared to that.

Then again with Bidenomics it sort of makes sense.

I notice at the sandwich shop they ask me for tips. I just hit NO TIP. :)

Sounds like the same kind of machine that I used but why even ask is the question as that's a bit of a give me, give me attitude to me.

How about this latest thing now where if you pay with your card, this screen comes up with tip options. How do you exit that without feeling like a dick?

I just move through it quickly and quietly as not to distract attention so they can't see me pushing the no button. It could be worse though.

I think tips in appreciation of diligent and courteous service workers are a good way of rewarding their work ethic.

How I long for the good olden days with bathtub boy my biggest worry.
