Tiger was doing close to 87 in a 45 mph mile zone. Odd thing though about the press release..1..they state no drugs or alcohol were suspected yet they didn't request a blood sample from the hospital 2..They refused to issue a citation because there were no witnesses or other evidence to warrant one yet they cited the cars computer (black box) to determine that he was going 80 plus mph at the time of the crash...Police release cause of Tiger Woods's wreck: excessive speed

Another example of an unjust justice system. Others would have been treated differently.

I think he was drunk because anyone going 42 mph over the speed limit was driving impaired.

The system is obviously racist and stacked against non blacks

You don't know that. I was once driving in a long line going 25 mph behind a slow car and got fed up and passed them all to the right in the parking lane hitting a top speed of about 90 mph to beat out the lead car to get around the mess free and clear before catching up to parked cars ahead because I could, driving a very hot rodded souped up car I had built.

I was 65 mph over the speed limit. It took great sober judgement to determine the speed necessary to beat out that lead car in time. Had I not judged right, there would have been no stopping at 90 mph at the last second to avoid hitting parked cars.

Tiger should discuss his accident!
It has been proposed that Tiger was very tired and speeding SOMEWHAT (he was running late to his next appearance), and he may have made a HUGE mistake when he reached the road's curve.
Instead of pressing on the brake, he mistakenly pressed the accelerator.

No cars normally have a "black box".
Did Woods have one put in by his insurance company or something?
A black box is expensive since it constantly has to be rewinding a special wire recording material that is fireproof.

The officers say no they wouldn't.

By law, police are not supposed to ticket that which they did not see.
That is why they get upset when you move cars after an accident, because then they can't legally give anyone a ticket.
But it is legal to move the cars after an accident, and in fact it is legally required.

If no other cars were involved and little to no property damage? Doubt it - they’d get a speeding ticket same as Tiger undoubtedly will.

Of course not. Make up your own facts and stick with 'em regardless if they're true. That's the spirit!

In many other cases they would have checked blood alcohol level.

The first thing to know is that, when a police officer comes to the scene, drug or alcohol testing of the drivers involved in the crash is not standard protocol...
Having said that, if the officer suspects that someone involved in the accident may have been driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the procedural rules become the same as those for a standard traffic stop...

Black privledge at it's finest.

People have been given tickets for simply losing control and wrecking their cars with no witness needed. He did that. Why no ticket?

Oh yes, black privilege. If that would have been some random white dude he'd have needed a briefcase to keep all his tickets in.
