Some will say justice served. Some will say we can’t afford to lose good cops like this.

St. Louis got four years for one of the cops. Four years for throwing a beating on a protestor.

The other two are awaiting their own sentencing. How long will they get?

Is it outrageous? Is it too lenient? What do you say?

Ooops. The cops beat an undercover black officer whom they thought was a protester. That undercover cop must have really known how to blend in.

No idea.

But a UC cop being a victim of police excessive force is sure funny as hell.

St. Louis is a shithole, it is the next Detroit coming, it might already be worse

Definitely excessive. The charge should have been a misdemeanor. It wasn't a one-on-one abuse of force; it was a riot. Adrenalin was flowing faster than the gasoline in the Molotov cocktails. The cop had probably been assaulted or seen his partners assaulted. He shouldn't have beaten the guy and should be punished; we do expect, demand, better from the police and, perhaps, it should even end his police career, but it shouldn't end his future.

Anything short of public crucifixion means they got off lightly.
