After consulting with political experts, analyzing exits polls and doing my own research, I present my final report on why John Kerry had lost the election. To be Simple... It's was not his time!

Kerry lost the election because he could only come across as a politician, not a leader. He doesn't have what it takes to be President and that shortcoming was obvious to a majority of the voters.

Middle America is growing and it will be us who will decide who runs this country.

I think there is indeed a backlash coming...and I also believe it will be from moderates. It's time to tell both extreme ends of the political spectrum to "Shut the hell up".

Sorry for the early posting of my "thought", but I won't be back until Tuesday. I have Michigan vs Ohio State on my mind and I can't wait for the game to start. This week is the week of my family. Over 12 birthdays are to be celebrated this week, including Thanksgiving; excuse me if I fail to answer back, for I have a very busy traveling schedule.

So let us begin.

At first, I spent the entire week preparing a clever posting, then something happened. "Free" wanted to mess with me in suggesting that my annual tribute to Scott Collins was a fraud. Thanks to CSM, I am cleared of that charge. The reason why Free messed up...He doesn't pay attention to detail. I told the man that I was stationed in a ENGINEER BATTALION, and that I'd issued Scott his linen. To anyone else, it would be safe to interpret that I was not posting a "I PULLED OUT MY BLADE AND I STARED THE IRAQI IN THE EYE" tribute. No, it was more like,"I PULLED OUT MY BLADE AND I STARED THEM IN THE EYES AND SAID, "WHICH BOXES OF MREs DO YOU WANT ME TO OPEN".

I'm not a "war" hero in a sense of fighting; however, in ironic fashion, I went on to become a humanitarian hero.

So what does this have to do with with my thought of the week? Simple; you see what happens when a person takes action without paying attention to detail. Now let's see how the week went for our federal departments.

CIA- Not Guilty. The CIA did pay attention to detail. The Clinton and Bush Jr administrations had a CIA department dedicated to Bin Laden, as well as 10 opportunities to either capture or kill Bin Laden prior to 9/11. Both are playing the "Kennedy Card", "Blame the CIA and smash them into a thousand pieces".

The PAD award goes to- The Bush administration. Listen to the CIA.

FDA- GUILTY!!! Vioxx, the abortion pill, and the flu shot. The Vioxx commercial made it clear that "serious complications" could come from using this product; my common sense says that "serious complications" could MEAN POSSIBLE DEATH. The abortion pill had the same disclaimer. As for the flu shot, the FDA knew that their UK distributor had problems with their supply; they simply ignored it.

The PAD award goes to- The FDA. If the drug's side effects are too risky, don't approve it; when you see a problem with your supplies, plan ahead!

The FCC- GUILTY AS HELL!!! Let me get this straight. You slapped the hell out of CBS for a breast exposure that only TIVO could catch; yet you hesitate on attacking ABC for its blantant show of indecency. Nevermind ABC's Saving Private Ryan stunt; ban exposing our children to sex, instead, let us expose them to a violent scene of a Nazi slowly pushing his knife into a US soldier as that soldier pleads for his life. ABC, CBS and NBC (unedited Schindler's List), have all tested the FCC, and have won. The FCC is a joke.

The PAD award goes to- Powell's son. Get your head out of your dad's butt and do your job!

In layman's terms, the more you pay attention to detail, the less likely you'll look like an ass, should you be wrong in your decision making. An honest mistake is forgivable, a foolish one isn't.

Respect is a difficult word to define simply because no one really knows how present respect.

I was asked to show respect by an unknown person because I'd attacked back in the same standards that were applied to myself. I'd acted, in what I'd felt was in self defense.

It appears that I am being held to a higher standard; because of such, I am more than happy to apologize for the way my remarks had came off. but let there be know doubt, I will eventually be banned; why? Because I cannot ignore the facts; it is my nature.

There is no way to pay respect to a person, when the facts that support your opinion, offends them.

Can anyone give me some advice on how I can walk this tightwire? For I have no clues.

All I know is this; when I address Sir Evil, he's Sir Evil, not a "friggin idiot"; and when I address freeforfun1, he's freeforfun1, not a "fake motherfucker".

And why do I do this; it is because of my mother's morals values.

My mother defines "Earning Respect" as an act of Evil because there are no lengths a person will go in order to make you earn their respect.

Her values are about giving you respect from the beginning, then making it YOUR choice to lose it.

No matter what I post on this forum, the facts I present are well researched from a democrat's perspective; that's it. I'd read, understood and will continue to live up to this forum's standards. I will not compromise that position to in order to earn someone's respect.

These last few weeks hade been very hard for me; lots of deaths and and a bunch of questions. When the smoke had cleared, I'd clearly saw the true kink in America's armor...

We are so arrogant in our wanting to live for today, that we don't prepare ourselves for tommorrow; lo an behold, it comes back to bite us in the end.

What was Sept 11? Nothing more than us not being PREPARED for a possible terrorist attack. What is our Social Security woes? Nothing more than us not being PREPARED for the possibility that the money will run out. What is the Bush Cabinet woes? Nothing more than Bush not having his nominees PREPARED before asking most of his cabinet members to resign; futhermore, he also failed to PREPARE his cabinet members to RESPOND to difficult questions at all times. And of course, there are the troops themselves; searching for scrap armor in order to PREPARE for another round with the insurgents in Fallujah; you know, the town we'd called ourselves "liberating". Fortunately, we had companies willing to kick our 100 more amored vehicles per month; had the president been PREPARED to ask them to do so.

In sports, Notre Dame's hard search for a new head coach came as a result of them not being PREPARED for the fallout coming from Ty Willingham's firing; however, Washington is PREPARED to face Notre Dame, now that they have Ty Willingham. MLB was not PREPARED for Jason Giambi's testimony on steroids; now they're scrambling to to keep congress out of their business.

Our economy took a hit because we did not PREPARE for the backlash from the war on Iraq. The EURO, powered by war opposition nations Germany and France, is killing us in the market. OPEC, a muslim led alliance... I know you're not surprised about the high oil prices.

In society, Scott Peterson was perhaps the most UNPREPARED of them all. He was so confident that his lies would work out, he'd failed to PREPARE for the oldest scenario in the world...

In my neighborhood, two children had died because with the children living on the second floor of their house, their parents did not prepare an escape route for them in event of a fire; no fire alarm, no latter, nothing.

The moral of this posting is rather simple, be prepared. My mother had a saying...

"Prepare to do the best you can, for that's all you can do. If you do such things, and things still go bad for you, then can you conclude that it was of GOD's will and there was nothing you could do to stop it."

We're not trying hard enough to PREPARE for tomorrow, not at any level of our society; if the events of the last few years wasn't a wake up call, I don't know what is.

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL REMAIN THE WORLD'S #1 SUPERPOWER SO LONG AS WE'RE PREPARED FOR ANY CHANGES THAT TAKE PLACE IN THIS WORLD... PERIOD!!! IT'S TIME TO GET OUR HEAD OUT OF OUR A@@ES AND START PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE!

I think you might have some validity in the previous analysis but this is where it fell apart.

Its Conservatives who are campaigning to fix social security so that there is money there in the future.

Its Conservatives who are campaigning to fix school by allowing parents a choice and holding schools accountable for their actions by working for school vouchers. Its liberals who are fighting to keep the status quo.

Its Conservatives who are campaigning to fix education so we can fix the problem of outsourcing with the long term solution of making our citizens more qualified for the jobs of the future. its Democrats who are trying to do it by punishing oversea corporations (which ironically many of them own)

Its Conservatives who are looking toward the future and realizing that if we allow people to kill their children we are robbing ourselves and our posterity of millions of minds that could solve billions of problems throughout the generations. By fighting for life we preserve the future of mankind.

Its conservatives who are looking toward the future by preserving the institution of the family. without it the world will be in chaos. The degeneration of the family is a product of pure selfishness. Its purely living for today instead of preparing ourselves and the world for a better tomorrow.

Its Conservatives who are leading the fight on terror. Because we realize that by not preparing ourselves to fight today, we are leaving ourselves open for another attack tomorrow. it was the Clinton administrations failure to deal with any serious issues but instead live in the day poll by poll that brought us 911. But weve woken up out of that sleep and the people are looking toward the future. We are going to prepare for the future by bringing freedom to the people of the Middle east. even if it has to be one nation at a time. Whats the point of living for appeasement today if it brings us holocausts tomorrow?

Its Conservatives who are providing tax breaks for people and for small businesses and allowing them opportunity to grow. Raising taxes to pay for todays debts is living purely for today. Allowing citizens to keep their hard earned money to reinvest it in the economy is preparing for the future.

We do need to look forward to tomorrow. its a pity liberals dont have a plan for tomorrow. only the playbooks of the past, the hate of the past, ideals of the past.

I think you misunderstand Conservatives. We are Conservative because we want to protect and defend the liberty we have and the culture that gives us that liberty. The political forces of the world naturally throw nations into anarchy and tyranny. Freedom has to be preserved and fought for. And thats why we are conservative because we dont want to lose our freedom.

I think you misunderstand Conservatives. We are Conservative because we want to protect and defend the liberty we have and the culture that gives us that liberty. I was thinking about how people will give tribute to me when I die.

A grand parade with the ticker-tapes, a grandmaster, with the Michigan band playing "Hail to the victors"? What about a 24 hour viewing of my coffin, while soldiers stand at my coffins' four corners? Better yet, why not have people pouring money into an account to build an addition to Mount Rushmore.

In the end, I found myself just as satisfied with having my body being drugged through the streets, people spitting on it, the hardcores shoving feces in my mouth, then dragging me onto the interstate of I-75 and allowing the cars to run over my body until it has a look of roadkill. Then after that, they throw me into a shallow grave, piss on me, gather enough people to crap in the hole long enough to fill it up; then leave a headstone that'd read, "F#ck you b&tch"!

You know why? Because I'm dead; D.E.A.D!!! I will not write you letters of appreciation, I will not thank you for the post-humous lifetime achievement awards you'd gave me; I'm dead! The only tribute I want is from GOD, telling me that I'm going to heaven. The rest is nothing more than personal therapy for the living, of which I will never enjoy because I'm DEAD!

With that being said, and being a gulf war vet, I am totallly against the former veteran's protest against the lowering of the US Flag in honor of the Late Reggie White.

This is OUR flag; the members of the armed forces are the "representives" of the people of the the United States; therefore the flag represents the people, and should not be exclusively dedicated to the armed forces or government officials. If anyone of the United States wants to lower that flag, in tribute to someone's life, they should be reserved the right to do so.

I'd just lost two members of my community to a fire recently. I'm going to buy a new flag, then lower it to half staff at the site of their demise. Why? Because they were fallen americans; they didn't deserve to die anymore than the soldiers, but they're Americans, therefore they deserve such an honor.

There is is...

The frozen tundra of Lambeau Field, soiled by the stench of an imaginary turd. People don't understand why these modern day gladiators chose to spend their moments of glory to utylize the imaginary port-a-potty that is in the end zone. To some, it was offensive; to many however, it was entertainment, and they loved it.

Every monday, these bold men of steel, hit the gym, as well as the steroids, to get ready for their next opponent; the one known to their fans as the "enemy". They study the film reels of their opponent, they pretend to mock their moves; if this form of training fails to produce the desired results, they'll begin training on how to injure them.

Sunday morning; these magnificent beasts hits the field, with eyes of fire and nerves of steel, ready to hit anything that moves and is not in their uniform.

They hoot, they holler, they spit, they curse, they grab their crouch. They get into their positions; every player is yelling obscenities to the opposing side.

The ball is snapped; it's a playaction pass; the corner sees it and chooses to hit his receiver in the mouth in order to knock him off his pattern. The fullback sees the linebacker coming in on a blitz, but he's out of position; he choses to dive at his knees, knowing that the block could cripple him. The quarterback sees a man open over the middle, but there is no way to give it too him unless he hangs the ball up in the air, thus forcing the receiver to jump for it. Meanwhile, the safety sees the the ball being thrown to the receiver; he runs up full spead ahead with the intent to hit that receiver as hard as he can.

The ball is on it's way, the receiver jumps up and catches the ball; the safety hit his legs, the receiver comes down head first and breaks his neck.

The ambulance pulls up, stabilizes his neck and carries him off the field. The safety felt guilty for one reason and one reason alone; because it was his hit; had it been done by anyone else, he would care less. Why? because in his' mind, this receiver was nothing more than "A Casualty of War".

Football players are bruts; I understood that as I'd watched Peyton Manning cursed at Reggie Wayne, which had led to the imfamous shove. He's the "role model" of this league; if he can't control his behaviour, what makes you think the players "beneath" him, can do any better?

As far as I'm concerned, let them do the voodoo that they do. Last I recall, there are no losses in ticket sales, so this is truly of the peoples' will. To the players it is a sport; but to the fans, football is entertainment! Think about it!!!
