Those plastic food containers - Study: Over 300,000 people die a year for using them

Wow, you just turned "COULD be a factor" into "The plastic industry IS hurting public health." Do you see how misinformation gets started?

Do you think these plastics have not been vetted by the FDA and EPA?
You would be incorrect. I have no affiliation or loyalty to the plastics industry--in fact I think they are more harmful to the environment than most anything in human possession. Humans are PIGS. There are massive rafts of plastics floating in the oceans and microplastics can be found in every living organism, but I fail to see any benefit to promoting disingenuous woulda, coulda, shoulda narratives when discussing issues that can be studied to the point of FACTS, not just "well maaaaaaybe so, maaaaybe not"
We heard almost nothing about plastics until the minority baiters and fake environmentalists decided to harm our plastics market.

And those studies...are they done by the plastic producers? They should have no input. We need an independent study. The plastic producers should have no input nor defense during the study.
Yeah, we know you want to kill our plastics market and cause chaos, just like a good little Marxie tool.

Nope
I just want to know if they're safe or not. Is there a problem with that? No chaos can happen from a study.

What a study - I read about this being a problem over 5 years ago, we switched to glass food containers and we buy Smart water which is BPA free.
Holy shit people - 300,000 a year deaths. That is more than Covid

could have been a factor

Seriously ????

could have been....

Have you used plastic in your life and are you alive right now? What else do you need to know?

No, they're not done by the plastics industry--they don't GAF. The studies that I've seen are done by the NIH, EPA, FDA, UNESCO, NOAA and numerous other private institutes. Research.

Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best. Plastics don't need my defense they have committed no
An investigation and health study could do non harm to the industry. No health study has ever had a negative impact on any industry.

Sure, its not your money that is being wasted on redundant, useless studies that have been conducted for decades by many private and government agencies. You are really free with other people's money.

No study in the interest of citizens health is a waste of money. Unless one is in the profits over people and there's many of those people out there.

Environmentalists killed nuclear power because of 'studies.' They caused huge problems in developing land because of their 'studies.' Besides plastics have already been studied and some have been banned. Did you actually read the link? We don't need to waste billions anymore on useless 'studies.'

Plastic is not a huge risk. Chill and have a bottle of water.

Do you read? I've told you of studies that have been done by numerous agencies. How many do you need. At some point you are just wasting other people's money, but it has become clear that you have no qualms with doing that.

It's not always about the dollar. So I'm all for more studies. Sorry but you aren't going to change my mind. We need 50,000 Erin brockovichs in my estimation.

A person believes in wanting to know if plastics are safe and people think that's a bad thing? Why? That's sick and twisted.

We've known this for a long time.

Why hasn't the government banned it?

You know, because they are watching out for us.?!?
