That is a lie. The RCP average has Biden up by 8.9 points. Also another thing to notice is that Biden is averaging 51.2% and the lowest numbers is 47% Clinton was under 50% and her numbers ranged from 50% to 43%.

The national numbers are the key. If Biden wins by 9 then there is no way Trump can win the electoral college vote.
The break appears to be around 3 percent. 3 percent does not guarantee a Republican victory but creates a path to victory.
Anything above 3 percent make it next to impossible
I would say even a 5 point win by Biden is enough. Another interesting phenomena is that fact that states like Missouri and Montana where Clinton lost by 20 points, Biden is losing by single digits. I am not forecasting Biden winning but it is indicative of how Trump has lost support.
