Data is plural. Only stupid people think that college graduates are "smart in school." They are no-talent brownnoses, ambitious imbeciles who substitute conforming for learning. In fact, they are instructed by lazy professors not to bother learning educated English, but to just copy the way "educated" people speak. That shows how they cheat through shortcuts and get ahead only because their competition is just like them.
