This is why you don’t elect Democrats

We need to raise the minimum wage and solve simple poverty to generate more tax revenue.
If you raise minimum wage, the people who pay those wages raise their prices to cover those costs, making all goods and services more expensive. The minimum wage worker is no further ahead then, but everyone else falls way behind as they didn't receive a big bump in salary, yet everything costs them more.

You're a prime example of why nobody takes the left seriously about economics, and why left-wing policies end up in mass poverty and misery.

It is about purchasing power. Prices won't double even if the minimum wage doubles. And, wages should beat inflation on an Institutional basis.

War on Poverty, Part 16,980
Wars are not conducive to the general welfare only the general badfare or the general malfare. Congress is delegated no authority to promote or provide for the general badfare nor the general malfare nor even the general warfare.

Really? Then why do we need to keep raising the minimum wage over and over and over? Been raised something like 12 times just in my lifetime.

Minimum wage increases is what causes "inflation" you nitwit. Businesses don't raise their prices for the sake of raising their prices.

You illustrate why nobody takes the left seriously about even basic economics.

UC for simply being unemployed could mean more people have some money to spend.
We already have a spending problem in this nation. Especially when it comes to cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. All the things you lazy, useless socialists send money on.

“Equal protection” already exists, snowflake. Please consult an attorney. :eusa_doh:
No, it doesn't.
Sure does! The problem is the disconnect between what “equal protection” actually means and what your uneducated ass thinks it means.

The law - AS IT IS WRITTEN - applies equally to everyone under it’s jurisdiction. The thing is, you want the law written differently. But that’s your problem. Doesn’t change the fact that it is upheld AS WRITTEN, equally.

No, it isn't. You simply appeal to ignorance like usual, insist you are Right even though you are Wrong, and don't bother to understand the topic well enough to ask well regulated and well informed questions. That is why I know, you have nothing but fallacy and that is the typical modus operandi for the immoral and less ethical Right Wing.

Watching this dimwit attempt to sound “smart” by using words and phrases that he doesn’t understand is hilarious. WTF is a “well regulated question”? :lmao:

No, it isn't.
Give a single example of where it isn’t. Can’t? That’s because you “appeal to ignorance” with a “well regulated fallacy” (or something).
