I am all for a straight across the board income tax that charges everyone regardless of the source or amount of income the same percentage of income tax. No exclusions, no write offs and no dependents. Every one pays the exact same percentage income tax regardless of the amount of income. We are a republicHowever to make it truly fair across the board, everyone gets to set down at the end of the year, every year and earmark exactly where and how the tax dollars they paid in are spent. So if you paid in say 500 dollars you get to say how that 500 dollars are spent. Consequently if you pay in 50,000 dollars then you get to say how that 50,000 dollars is split up and expended. There simply can't be anything more democratic than that.
