This is why the Department of Education needs to go.

Maybe the money can be used to hire and retain more teachers. The classroom is where learning happens.

OK
So you take money away from low income districts, learning disabled students and student loans

The better question is, how will eliminating a Dept of Education that has such a pitiful track record going to make anything worse? It is not the federal government's authority to hire and retain teachers. But maybe by leaving more billions with the states/local communities, the local communities will have more resources to attract and retain good teachers.

Hopefully the worm is turning and the schools will start hiring more actual teachers in useful subjects rather than professional indoctrination specialists.

Eliminating the Dept. of Education means that the government won't need roughly $2 billion on average per U.S. state to fund it.

God Dems suck at math. $3 TRILLION has been wasted on the DoE since it's inception. That's $60 BILLION per state.
Where, where is this wasted money?
You don't know because you are just repeating "LIES" from the talking heads.

Detail this $3 Trillion in Waste?
Seriously, detail it.

Is it Pell Grants?
Is it Title 1 funding?
Is it Special Education Money?

Or are people just STEALING this money?

That is close to 50 years
How much did we pay on defense in that time?
We spent $2trillion occupying Afghanistan

Not really.

There is a place for stupid women.....As long as it's nowhere near me.
Have you seen College 'males' interviewed recently? They're as bad or worse. At least those girls are representative of the traditional look of a healthy woman. No question of 'gender'. The 'men' at College? Too often -- Not so much

Don't blame the women, blame the grifting edumucashun industry.

Parents pay a lot of money for their chilluns to go to College and if all they're learning is trash, it's not the kids fault.

If they're there, it is the Faculty's responsibility to teach them. If I pay somebody to paint my house, it's their job to do it right. If I pay tens of thousands of dollars a year for my daughter's edumucashun, it better get done right or I'm pulling them out.

How will cutting 2000 Fed jobs provide every State with more money?

Where has DOGE ever stated that dollars saved from the Fed end will be sent to the States.
Please post this information.
That's the entire point of dismantling the redundant Federal administration of money for the State schools. Eliminate unnecessary positions and the waste and fraud = more money for the States.

The men are redeemable, the women, not so much. They will be that stupid the rest of their lives.

So you double down on a failed system

It is state and local governments that are failing our children.
Feds just help out where needed

Federal money is already going to the states to fund low income communities and special needs programs

If you're paying someone to paint over the rotten wood, you're not really going to have a better result.
Just like trying to educate your daughter. Is she good wood or rotten wood?

Also, root out the failed Common Corp, which is still operating in many states under different names.

What are these unnecessary positions? Seriously, be specific and name the unnecessary positions.
What is the Fraud? If it exists, then you can easily identify it and name it.

Why won't you do this?

Along with the federal funding came the failed Common Corp. Reminds of a line in "Elizabeth". As the Spanish armada approached England one courtier warned, "In the bowels of those ships is the Inquisition." :omg:

You mean Common Core?

Which of the points above are damaging and a 'failure'?

What waste and corruption?

You guys use that as an excuse for everything you destroy

How is eliminating Dept of Education going to result in better test results?
How is Micromanaging Teachers by the DOE improving education?

They force CORE Curruculim and Teachers to teach a Core Test.

The DOE are micromanagers from hell. They arent even in the game. They dont teach. They rule from their thrones in the Cheap Seats Nose Bleed section.

No, your local hillbilly school sets the curriculum and hires the teachers.
If it is a low income community, Federal funds are available

Federal laws require providing education to students with learning disabilities and prohibit discrimination
Something some local districts don’t want to do
No the federal government wants to control the what's being taught. Like transgendering 8 year olds.

DOE has little to do with curriculums
