Good! The bicyclist was a total A-hole, everything he accused the driver of, aggressive, rude, etc, was what he was doing. Whenever I ever rode a bike, or am a pedestrian, I always understand that cars are 4000 pounds of steel vs. my 24 pound bike. I give them the right of way.

I just wish I could have been there to see that asshole bicyclist's face when the cops ticketed him too, much less heard the driver's charges were dropped.

LOL, not just in the VA hinterlands. I saw a similar interaction in downtown SF. A bicyclist got aggressive with the wrong redneck and the guy in the pick up got out, knocked the bicyclist to the ground, threw the bike into the pick up and drove away. LOL. Justice was served.

By law in the UK, you have to pass a cyclist within no more than 5 feet, otherwise it's a motoring offence. For safety reasons. Also, unless on a tight country road, cyclists can ride two abreast. Unfortunately, roads are just not for cars, they're for other road users.
