This is what lawfare looks like.

We've seen what lawfare has looked like for the past eight years.
You are confusing lawfare with the prosecution of violations of law.

Mr. Trump set the fraudulent elector plan into motion in early December, ensured that it was carried out by co-conspirators and Campaign agents in the targeted states, and monitored its progress. On December 6, for instance, Mr. Trump and Co-Conspirator 2 called the Chair woman of the Republican National Committee and told her that it was important for the RNC to help organize Mr. Trump's elector nominees in the targeted states. 42 During the call, Co-Conspirator 2 told a lie that the co-conspirators would use to induce the cooperation of many of the fraudulent electors: that Mr. Trump's electors' votes would be used only if ongoing litigation in their state proved successful for Mr. Trump. 43 From that point on, Mr. Trump communicated with Co-Conspirators 1 and 2 about the plan, and they in tum communicated with Co-Conspirators 5 and 6. 44

I disagree that the trials of trump's co-conspirators for the attempt to subvert democracy by stealing the 2020 election is minutia. It's the most egregious act of betrayal to the country by any prez in history.
1. Was Trump charged with conspiracy? with treason? with insurrection? HINT: NO dumbass, so stop lying.

2. Biden's open borders is the biggest national security disaster in history. He let in 166,00 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, he let 600,000 convicted criminals roam the US, he let in hundreds of terrorists including ISIS.

Put the blame where it belongs, on Biden and the democrats.

We've seen what lawfare has looked like for the past eight years.
At Co-Conspirator 1 's direction, Co-Conspirator 5 generated and sent directions to the Trump electors in each targeted state on how best to mimic the manner in which the state required valid electors to gather and vote, 45 and Campaign staff and agents helped carry out Co-Conspirator 5 's plans. 46 For the most part, the co-conspirators deceived Mr. Trump's elector nominees in the targeted states by falsely claiming that their electoral votes would be used only if ongoing litigation were resolved in Mr. Trump's favor. 47

Does reading the details of trump's crimes make you uncomfortable?

Does reading the details of the Obama administration's crimes make you uncomfortable?

1. Was Trump charged with conspiracy?
Yes. You have an appalling lack of familiarity with the facts.

Just under two months after a divided Supreme Court ruled that former presidents have broad immunity from prosecution for their conduct in office, Special Counsel Jack Smith charged former President Donald Trump in a revised indictment alleging that Trump conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Trump may be off the hook for his 2020 election plot, but his allies aren’t

Donald Trump’s victory in 2024 largely shattered the efforts to prosecute him for his efforts to subvert the 2020 election.

But dozens of his allies still face state-level criminal charges for their roles in the plot. The five cases against them have plodded along for years, mired in procedural gridlock, prosecutorial bungles and appellate review.

None of those cases is anywhere near a trial, yet they all remain pending — a state of legal limbo that exemplifies the nation’s halting struggle to reckon with, and achieve accountability for, Trump’s failed bid to seize a second term despite Joe Biden’s victory nearly five years ago.

On Wednesday, one of the cases will be at the Nevada Supreme Court for arguments on a key procedural issue. Two others, after long stretches of dormancy, could be revitalized in the next several months. The upcoming developments could determine whether any of the defendants ever have to face a jury for meddling in the election — even as Trump uses his office to perpetuate the bogus claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

At the core of all the cases is the effort, in December 2020, to assemble false slates of Trump electors in states he narrowly lost. Dozens of the Republicans activists who posed as electors remain under indictment. But some of the cases also sweep in more prominent Trump allies, like his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and conservative attorneys John Eastman and Rudy Giuliani.

trump devotees go to their happy place when the subject of the plot to steal the 2020 election comes up. Pretending it never happened with a combination of denial, misinformation, and a steadfast refusal to recognize demonstrable truths.

They aren't alone. The conservatives on the SC waved their magical wand of fabricated immunity for all the dealings trump had with DoJ officials while he was conspiring to steal the election. Forcing Jack Smith to amend his indictment. Leaving plenty of meat on the bone for a conviction had the trial proceeded.

If I've learned any lesson from trump's use of lawfare to avoid accountability for his crimes it is the glacial way our system of justice works can be enormously problematic in the pursuit of justice. A lesson his co-conspirators have apparently learned well.
So, they subpoena'd Robert Mueller, and found him in a memory care facility.

the plot to frame a sitting POTUS for Russian collusion is the biggest political scandal and crime in US history ! more is coming ! and there's nothing you and your lying party can do about it ! just 6 months in ... 42 to go !

Turn to page 11 where it says "Mr. Trump's Fraudulent Elector Plan."

You'll find an explanation of trump's crimes related to the illegal elector scheme there.
That's an OPINION, written by a leftist operative.

The fact is the democrats have used ALTERNATE electors as well.

The DEMOCRATS engaged in illegal lawfare to go after republican alternate electors because of politics.

Way too much projection in this thread. Why is it you loons always, ALWAYS, accuse others of what your party is doing.

So, they subpoena'd Robert Mueller, and found him in a memory care facility.
If that was an attempt to discredit the facts revealed in his report, and of course it was, it was an epic fail.

But..............it's members of YOUR party who have been indicted. Time to go to your happy place, hidey hole cuz you've got nothing.

Last year, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, a Democrat, indicted 18 Trump allies with efforts to fraudulently overturn the state’s 2020 election results. Grand jurors wanted to charge Trump himself but were talked down by reluctant prosecutors. Instead, the indictment labeled Trump an unindicted co-conspirator and mastermind of the alleged plot.

Yeah, illegal lawfare. In other words a corrupt politician attacking political rivals.

The only problem you have is that Jack Smith was not legitimate, as was said by a past AG, "Taylor Swift has more legal authority than Jack Smith".
Don't forget to mention those 34 felonies that will be overturned and that the voters already ignored.
