They really started to get agenda-driven in the 1970s after Watergate. This carried into the 80s. By the late 80s/early 90s, they were sitting on stories that made Democrats look bad. This was about the time Fox News launched and antiquated AM Radio had a resurgence with Conservative Talk Shows.

So why you feel it is so important for the shooter not to be white is your problem. Because the cop who died was also not white.
