That's the question of the day.

As much as it bothers me to deny some athletes the opportunity to represent their nation. Just as Russia/Eastern Bloc and Americas boycotted each others olympics in the 80s; we must take a stand. I know the issues are difficult, but there must be consequences, it's just been a one way slaughter.

The amount of abuse and power growth of China has been the most unchecked and rewarded in history. From the betrayal in Hong Kong, to concentration camps in China oppressing Muslims, to threats to Taiwan to the absolute silence of the world to demand the facts about the Wuhan Virus, Western leaders have been weak and subservient.

This is the one stand we can get right. The CCP do NOT want to lose face. This gift is a reminder to them, like Stalin to his own citizens : "we can do what they want and they will come crawling with their beaks to get the seeds we throw them".

Nope. Let the athletes who wish to do so protest. Let China react to this. Let the world see their reaction. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
