That's bullshit and if you knew the first thing about firearms you would know that. Semi-auto pistols are far more "proficient" (and that is the wrong word to use) at killing in the double digits. 9mm, 10mm and .45 caliber PISTOL rounds are far more lethal than .223/5.56 rifle rounds and a shooter can carry far more of them in easily changed magazines. The .45 Automatic Colt Pistol round was specifically designed to be the most lethal round available in 1911. It was tested by hundreds of actual firings against pig carcasses and the damage compared to the other pistol rounds of the day which included things like the .45 long colt and the .38 special. The US Army needed a pistol cartridge that would disable or kill a Morro warrior who was hopped up out of his mind on drugs with ONE HIT. They would shrug off multiple .38 Special hits and keep on coming to kill US soldiers. It's not the gun's fault that it's the most proficient weapon with which to score up in the double digits.
Because it would totally torpedo your narrative.I'm going to avoid the question.
Really? Perhaps you can explain why the military never used the Colt Ar 15, or any AR 15 semi automatic, as the standard issue rifle? It's not the gun's fault that it's the most proficient weapon with which to score up in the double digits.
