Take Eric Euken, a seventh-generation Iowa farmer. He grows corn and soybeans, raises cattle and pigs, and voted for Trump even knowing tariffs were coming. “I didn’t anticipate it being as bad as it is,” he told CNN.

That’s a him problem, not an us problem.

“It is a tough situation right now with the lack of markets that we have, or places to market our crop,” Euken said. “And it’s kind of the government that put us in that situation.”

Yes, it’s “the government” that has created this mess—but not the one that existed under former President Joe Biden. But who put that government there? He and his neighbors helped lead the charge. Again—a them problem, not an us problem.

Then he added: “So I hate to pin it on the American taxpayer, but if they want us to survive, we are going to need some help.”

Haha, what? Why would we want them to survive?

Sure. Farmer's like this guy knew Trump was obsessed with tariffs that would negatively affect their bottom line but they voted for him anyway. They didn't "anticipate" what would happen even though the same shit happened during Trump's first term? Bullshit. Now they want a handout. Cry me a ******* river.

They can stand in line with all the others who Trump has & WILL **** over now & in the future.

The funny thing is MAGA are like "Yeah, let's put tariffs, it'll help get jobs at home" only then to see the international markets fall apart and have less jobs than before

The Left still has no answer for putting Climate Change and Welfare over people wanting to work

Elections matter!

To Rollins the cause of the problems faced by independent, self sufficient, govt hand out dependent farmers seem to be a riddle wrapped in a mystery hidden in an enigma.

Sounds like food prices should be coming way down.

A relief after they skyrocketed when Democrats insisted we feed corn to our freaking cars.
