Things that I see in the office and dont know why its allowed

Yeah, till I read where he was jealous of the woman going into the dark office I was gonna put out a gay alert on him.

Maybe fbj is like Klinger and merely jealous of the beautiful wardrobe these women have.

He wishes he looked that good. :smoke:

1. people at their desk with their cell phone in front of them on a cell phone holder when its not lunch time

2. women wearing sun dresses to work that is tightly fit around their breasts and ass

3. People who have office and dont turn the light on, just the light from the computer

4. People with a ear piece in their ear all day so they can talk on the phone

I have to admit this woman I have a crush on when I saw her going into that guy's dark office It was not a good feeling at all. lol
  1. People listen to music while working all the time. More importantly people are expected to work off hours and respond to emails when needed on weekends and nights so the blur of personal and work life goes both ways.
  2. Dress codes exist. I suspect this might be a you problem.
  3. Fluorescent lights bother some people's eyes. They use desk lamps. If the office had a window it is no problem but offices dont mind cramping people in closets and giving them a Joe vs Volcano light so why not let people manage their environment?
  4. Almost all in office roles require virtual meetings constantly. Unless you have your own office with a door you are on an earpiece so you dont broadcast throughout the workspace your meeting volume. Plus, some people listen to music while doing analysis or data entry.

A better question is about productivity. Either people are getting their work done or they arent. If they arent, then fire them. If they are, and they do it listening to music, or using a desk lamp, why care?

not to the ******* office. Why should I be turned on at my desk

Move to the Middle East, the nations where women wear burkas. Problem solved for you, eh?

To the old men in these comments:

When my daughter was in a sorority, the girls got so tired of old men leering at them and making comments they started calling them out. For example. A man winked at her at a gas station and she YELLED: "Oh GROSS!! Did you just wink at me? You're older than my GRANDPA"

Cue all the women absolutely staring daggers at him.

When I read these comments I think of that. heh

This sounds like a pleasant memory for you.

1. people at their desk with their cell phone in front of them on a cell phone holder when its not lunch time

I get lots of work traffic on my cell phone. So ya, email, desk phone, cell phone are part of my work protocols.

It's part of communication and being responsive to your customers.

Why the hell not.

2. women wearing sun dresses to work that is tightly fit around their breasts and ass

And this is a bad thing how?

3. People who have office and don't turn the light on, just the light from the computer

I hate bright florescent lights. I'm the guy that gets up on a ladder and gives the tubes a 1/4 turn twist to shut them off.

(I also use dark mode for everything, like the overhead lights it's easier on the eyes so less strain over the course of the work day.)

4. People with a ear piece in their ear all day so they can talk on the phone

I don't where my Air Pods to talk on the phone all day. Usually they are there for:

#1 Low background music to enhance concretion by eliminating/reducing external distractions, or

#2 No music playing and simply used for Noise Cancellation to provide a quieter work environment.

I have to admit this woman I have a crush on when I saw her going into that guy's dark office It was not a good feeling at all. lol

And going into his office with the lights on and the door closed would be different?

Women wear sleevless dresses, no sweater available, then complain about the AC setting.

I might be the only person on this planet that you will almost never see with a cellphone because I don't have one. Any cellphone that I hold will belong to someone else.

God bless you always!!!

it would not look as bad if the lights was on. And it wasnt that she was at the door asking a question, she walked all the way and didnt come out right away. Im on vacation this week so when I get back next week they will probably be dating lol

How do you think (or hope) we look at you? :dev3:
Sorry, but it's a subconscious reaction to get nauseous seeing excess flab exposed and bulging out and over one's clothing.

As for me personally; click this link, scroll down to #570

I’m in there somewhere.

If you find where ...

FWIW, I'm happily married, and she is still a beauty, even if we are 'old, wrinkled' 'grandparents' ... ;)

Took me ages to find it. I’d almost forgotten about it. With my grandbaby.
