and then complained later because Republicans learned how to do them even better:

1. The nuclear option

2. Political boycotts

3. Gerrymandering

4. Signing executive orders known to be legally iffy

5. Ignoring court orders, including the US Supreme Court

6. Weaponizing the justice system against opponents

Anyone want to add onto the list?

Neither is good for democracy.

It's time to reset it, but it begins with media. If MSNBC and CNN tomorrow come out and say "we have been wrong for years and have been carrying water for one particular party and the CCP but we are going to change immediately and criticize both equally". M

Maybe there is hope.

Fox News didn't become so big because they were exclusively right leaning, they became big because they were the ONLY ones who were right leaning.

Trump is forcing them all to be more fair. That doesn't mean they are now fair and unbiased, but things are going in the right direction, so far. Trump has done a lot of things to force fairness on them without trying to force them to all be Fox News, such as cutting the funding for NPR and PBS. All they had to do is report the news fairly and objectively and they refused to do it.

Republicans need to go FULL NUCLEAR option on that asshole Schumer. Schumer uses EXTORTION holding up judicial nominations that came out of committee with BIPARTISAN support. Demanding $1 billion dollars and an agreement not to claw back any more wasted taxpayer dollars like some organized crime boss. That money has ZERO to do with judicial appointments.

I'm pretty sure Trump has the votes to push through a nuclear option when they get back from recess, hence he halted negotiations with the criminal Democrats. So F Schumer and the Dems, they brought it down on themselves.

1. The nuclear option
Are you saying Reid ending the filibuster for federal judge nominees due to unprecedented obstruction of Obama's nominees by Senate Repubs equates to McTreason ending the filibuster for SC nominees and blocking Merrick Garland from having his nomination considered by the Senate?

McTurtle didn't "do it better." He took it to another stratosphere. It's what Repubs do when they have power. They abuse it. The most illustrative example being Dotard steaming rolling law, precedent, protocol, and any regard for the democratic processes we have traditionally had for over 200 years.

Talking points, code words, disingenuous inflammatory chararacterizations. I hate when Republicans return such tit for tat but can't really blame them.
But even better we are finally learning how to call them out for that kind of dishonesty. We learned to ask them to back it up with something verifiable. They never can. Or we point out their obsession with something like Epstein and ask them why it matters so much, i.e. are they afraid they won't be able to see salacious photos and videos of young girls?

It does effectively shut some of them up. :)

Reid opened up the can of worms. He didn't have to. Now you are complaining because McTurtle one upped him on it?

One thing I completely forgot was democrats weaponizing the justice system and now they're griping because Trump has weaponized the justice system against them. I agree with you. I would hope that we could just stop this tit for tat nonsense, right after Trump gets his revenge first because he deserves it after what democrats have done to him.

More lies from the OP. The right can never take responsibility for anything unless it's something they can use to glorify themselves.

Fox is not and never has been a news organization. When someone said it was right wing talk radio with pictures, Roger Ailes took it as a compliment.

Stop repeating right-wing BS, foreigner. The former chairman of the Republican party has been employed by MSNBC for years. Republicans have been employed s political analysts on CNN and MSNBC for years also.

Like the Dems blocking a vote on Miguel Estrada?

Yeah, about time the Republicans fought back.

And it was fabulous!!!

It wasn’t unprecedented obstruction

Obama got the vast majority of his appointments confirmed

he however illegally appointed folks to be national labor board, radicals that wanted to undermine capitalism, that’s when Reid went nuclear

Republicans need to sit down and shut up.
You do realize your a joke!
