For the last 20-30 years the Democratic party has insulted rural voters, their education, their dental work, their religion, their epic work ethics, and honest to goodness salt of the earth hominess. Meanwhile unworkable policies passed to appease feel good city leftists, and college professors, (who are paid kings ransoms but couldn't find their own ass if they used both hands while standing in their own driveway (even if you gave them a flashlight), have decimated the farms and factories that supplied rural America with a dependable and solid, if lower middle-class, income for generations.
So now when people get accusatory and arrogant that rural America gets more in welfare per capita than some urban areas, they drive the insults even deeper. In town after town, people's families who voted blue for generations now vote straight red. The claim is the Democrats don't give an eff about rural working and retired people... And there isn't a single item anyone can point to to show them why they are wrong.
Then factor in the lefts support of the socialists and other far left depravities, accusations of toxic masculinity and grooming little boys to cut off their little pee pees when they get older and calls of bigotry if anyone dares question the new way of the Dems, and yeah, The Dems have zero reason to expect anyone from outside of a major urban area to vote for them. None. People in small town America see the crime, the discourse, the ambushed first responders and the lack of respect for our nations flag, constitution and history.
The republicans haven't hurt the Democrats. The Democrats have hurt the democrats and they still point their fingers at anything that moves rather than to accept the wholesale destruction that marching to the squad and kissing sanders on the butt has caused them...
I don't know why the Dems hate trump, he is their only possible chance of avoiding a total collapse in 22. People voted against trump not For Biden... Now that the curtain has been pulled back, and people see that Biden lives in the butt crack of Pelosi, Sanders and Cortez, this country has seen enough. If trump goes away, the Dems will be lucky to win another congress for 20 years. If trump stays and keeps running his mouth, the Dems actually have a chance, slim chance, to hold congress.
These idiots running the DNC think all they have to do is find a clever talking point to fool all of the *toothless rural people who cling to guns and religion* and they'll all come running back like a Lab retriever and give them big drooly kisses. and that will turn it all around. hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
