When I was learning how to fly, my father, a career U.S. Air Force pilot gave me some very wise instruction. One thing he always stressed was to NEVER follow railroad tracks, I asked him why and he told me that I might run head on into a Navy pilot........Mainman, you were in the Navy weren't you?

do you honestly think that we are NOT supporting our troops? DO you think that we are flying over to Iraq and putting sugar in the gas tanks of their Hummers? are we purposely sabatoging their ammunition? Are we telling the enemy where they are moving to tomorrow? We can disagree with this president and disagree with this war and still hope and pray that every round fired by one of our men finds its target and every one fired at them misses. We can still hope for victory on the battlefield every time our men are in the fray.... but to sit silent while the president pours more and more men into the gaping maw of Iraq and has them chewed up ....and remain silent because if we say anything, we are somehow dishonoring those who have already been chewed up..... is insane....to sit in the bus and watch the busdriver aim for a cliff and not say a word out of some misguided sense of needed respect for the busdriver is suicidal.
