Basically impossible. Nursing homes are staffed by people who are going to be exposed to the virus much more frequently when social distancing goes away.

SMH Cuomo was putting known infected patients into nursing homes to free up hospitals beds that were never at full capacity.
Thousands died in the nursing homes.

That’s false. Hospitals surged bed availability by around 50% and were well over that during the peak. Keeping any institutionalized patient inpatient would have required an additional surge well beyond anyone’s capabilities.

During the peak they had 1000 beds in a convention center not being used and a military ship that wasn't being used.
Having said that, do you believe that it was a prudent thing to do as to put infected patients into nursing homes
with the aged? Please use some common sense before you answer.
Cuomo just last week ended that practice and even stated that it was a bad idea.

One of the main reasons that the COMFORT wasn't utilized as much as it could have been was because they wouldn't take on any COVID 19 cases, and the screening for a person to be put onboard that ship was quite extensive. The reason it was underutilized was because of the rules they put in place about who could and couldn't be treated onboard.

Yes there will be a second wave as we come out and back into society. This virus will be around until it burns its way through the earth’s population. The 1918 pandemic lasted 2 years.

“Although it may be safe for some to go to churches and social distance, it may not be safe for those with preexisting conditions,” Birx told Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday.” “That’s why in ‘phase one’ and ‘phase two,’ we’ve asked for those individuals with vulnerabilities to really ensure that they are protected and sheltering in place while we open up America.”

Well, isn’t this peachy? Now that thinking Americans across the country have figured out those most susceptible to the deadly effect of the virus is limited to an identifiable segment of the population and are protesting the suicidal approach first recommended by Dr. Birx and her sidekick Fauci, Birx now tells us that those individuals with vulnerabilities should be protected and should be the group that shelters “in place while we open up America."

The problem is, the advice these two have given us has already led to unnecessary and untold deaths in the United States, and irreparable damage to our economy. But, instead of admitting they offered an irrational and suicidal approach to deal with the virus at the beginning, they now pretend nothing has happened on their behalf and continue to project themselves as our saviors.

These two monsters need to hide their faces in shame and ask for forgiveness for the suicidal path they recommended from the beginning.
