In 2016 had happened a heavy crime in Vienna. A 10 years old child was murdered - in an extremely brutal manner. Also in my family had been murdered family members decades ago in brutal manners. Germans had done this.

Do I have now no right to be a German any longer because Germans murdered family members from me? So whatelse to be? An US-American? Sorry - but in the US, I would feel much more insecure and helpless than in Germany and Austria.

The sadness I feel is another sadness. I know that the parents of the murdered child are still suffering and I hope they have very good friends. God may be with them.

Victims are by the way always harmed. But the USA is really a very strange country.
