there wouldn't be gridlock if Washington had more women, my friends...just look at Rwanda's Congress

How very sexist of you.
To suggest that women would do better than men based solely because they are women.
Anyone who thinks that, is by definition a sexist.

Rwanda? Really? A tiny African country (there are 6 states in this country with more people) with a gdp almost 100 times smaller per capita than the US, that’s who we are going to model ourselves after? Why do you post such idiotic things?

No, you’re the OP. You posted the story they wrote. Technically the thread should be killed because you only quoted and linked without comment.

A whopping 49 of the 80 members of the Rwanda Chamber of Deputies are female. Yet only 127 of the 435 members of the House of Representatives are female. If the goal is to put more women into national legislatures, Rwanda shows that quotas work. But whether quotas give women real political and social power is more complicated.

Gridlock in government is a good thing.

The less the government does the the better it is for all of us

Yeah, good idea, let's emulate Rwanda....

One second thought let's not because it's fucking RWANDA !!

Besides, the females that we do have in the U.S. Congress have proven one thing, that women are just as corrupt, incompetent and deceptive as men.

If you think Rwanda is the pinnacle of places to live, yes use quotas.
