You realize how ridiculous it is make broad and rather hypocritical (since you won't apply it to anyone else) character judgements of people on the basis of whether or not they tip for fast food?
I do apply them to everyone, though I've never seen the listed Republicans in a fast food restaurant on the news. Ever. Does that mean anything? No.
When you make a statement like this: Why must they be held to a standard that won't be applied to the almighty Hillary Rodham Clinton? It appears you are reluctant to hold them to the same standard.
But it is a reflection on your principles when you fight for the poor man as a rich woman, and stiff a tip to people making at least 22,500 (at minimum wage) times less than she does in a year. Gee, that tells me how little she cares for the poor.
She doesn't tip at a fast food place (where people don't ordinarily tip) yet she is actively involved in (and provides money to) a foundation that spends tons of money helping poor people around the world.
And, imagine my surprise when people excoriated Marco Rubio for drinking from a water bottle during the Republican response to the State of The Union in 2011. Remember that?
What did that have to do with tipping?
Don't lecture me about character judgement, Coyote, everyone does it. Even you and I.
Don't get all pompous about it. If you make sweeping character judgements about people based on inconsequential things...then someone's going to call you on it.
